I'm just gonna use my dynamite arrows I have piled up from Twitch Prime, I'm not too far off from being able to make my own. Just 20 levels.... but sure'd be nice if they lowered the rank lock again.

Normal arrows are a 1 hit kill in gamemodes like Hostile Territory and Plunder. Paired with PIB, you've got yourself a deadly (broken)  killing machine, without wasting explosive arrows.

don't own a bow and i'm not kuking myself with ambush missions for 3 hours, so i got my 5/7 and dipped. 5 gold for about 20 minutes of hunting, i'll taaaake it

Showdowns have worked fine for me recently (as far as that I could actually play them, getting awards to register has been a different story), but not today, tried for an hour, I'm done.

 

If a rescue happens to spawn while I'm hunting, great, but I'm not searching for one.

 

5/7 will have to do for today.

I used a bridge on the Western side of St Denis. Parked my horse in the ditch and then jumped onto him from the top of the bridge.

Thanks for the tip. Just feel I can't be bothered starting up the game again. Got my croc just to keep the streak going.

I had the same issue, jumped from the exact same spot and died, when earlier it didn't count.

 

Found myself on 6/7 surprisingly quick, off to hunt foxes for the next 3 hours i imagine.

Try Aurora Basin. There is a cabin you can climb on top of quite easily and jump to your horse from there. 

 

Also a chance there is a stranger in need, and foxes are nearby in Tall Trees.

Any tips for getting a Rescue to actually spawn? I know the locations, but I’ve spent 40 minutes already trying to get the alligators surrounding the wagon one to actually spawn in.

Well that was probably my quickest 7/7 I've ever done. Finished everything in about 30 minutes. For the rescue, I got really lucky. I started a new game and spawned in at Ambarino and the rescue mission by Colter spawned right away. For those that might not know, right where the hideout spawns near the fast travel, a rescue mission is sometimes there instead, so spawning into Ambarino usually puts you away from most of the player base, and with some luck you'll either get the rescue mission...or the hideout.

Having trouble too. I visited like 10 spots, changed sessions, different time of day. Nothing.

 

Frustrating. Senseless.

I used  buildings in Blackwater.

 

not sure if my challenge was glitching but I jumped off a few buildings which were clearly well over 3metres and it didn’t trigger.

 

also this is basic advice but I think some people might be over looking it:

 

jump off the building using X or square,

 

then mid flight start button mashing Y or triangle and your character will adjust their body position to land on the horse...

The water tower at Fletneck is perfect for this. But I managed to get it for free today. Loaded in, climbed on my horse and it said I achieved it. Nice.

For the jump on the horse, you don't have to do 3m in one jump, it can be a combo of jumps.  The only thing I find with this is it seems like you can't do the same building twice.  I go to Braithway and jump out of the barn behind the house, and usually get it in one shot.

If you jump from a height, presumably the 3m, then get on your horse, it might work. Did it by accident last time jumping down a few rocks, immediately got on horse, registered. Wasn't even trying.

 

Otherwise this one is quite easy, don't bail on it. 3m = about 10 feet, so less than twice your char height. Should not need any special location.

I just did it again, jump down two levels of rocks, not even dangerous, mount horse at bottom of jumps.

Feels weird. All done for the day pretty early again. Sitting at 525 Gbars, & not sure what to do from here . . . Hardest part of the list was finding a second fox.

Anyone tried jumping off a train carriage for the 3m drop?  I'm at work so won't have chance to try myself for another 6 hours. 

 

Update: this does not work, doesn't even register the attempt as some roofs seem to.

I gave up on the alligator wagon. Instead I tried the Mexican guy with a ‘twin’ just NW of Blackwater, who asks for a ride to Thieves Landing. It only took about 5 session changes, and I was very close to the spawn place when switching sessions (basically looking right at it from about 200m away).

Seven out of seven day. I managed four out of seven last night. While looking for a train to complete the fifth challenge my ISP messed up and disconnected my internet until about three minutes ago/.

Got lucky with the "help a person in need". Those usually pop at the worst times, so I was guessing I wouldn't get one today, but I did.

I found that climbing off a railing and falling onto your horse at the 2-story saloon in Saint Denis didn’t count as jumping. I had to go to a specific place in saint denis from a Youtube video which let me actually jump made it work.
