The first two times I tried at a different spot, I swore it was just as high if not higher and it didn't work. It would be stupid if they meant exactly 3 meters.

Go to Braithway manor and leave your horse at the bottom of the steps in front of the front door facing away from the house.  Go up stairs, loot the platanum jewelry and go out on the balcony on the second floor, hop over the center of the railing and land on your horse.  Learned this trick from looting that place over and over before they changed it.  I told my friend to try it and it worked for him.  He said two attempts though.

Alright doing it in CMC's place worked after two attempts. Jumping on my horse from the top of buildings in St Denis though? No bueno lol

It’s bizarre I jumped onto my horse at emerald ranch, and had to do it at least 7 times moving a grey bar along til it said completed, my posse mate did it once from the same building and it counted.

 

i also jumped off the tower there which is more than 3m and that didn’t count.

I just tried Braithwaite Manor multiple times off of the balcony, front and side. Landed perfect on my horse but failed.
I also made 2 attempts from the window on the second floor of a barn nearby. Land perfect again but failed.
My other failed attempts have been from the roofs of various buildings and houses in Blackwater and Rhodes.

Was able to complete the challenge jumping off the roof of the Tumbleweed Saloon after a few tries. I figured out that it you press x to jump then on the way down press y (xbox) then your character kind of floats onto your horse

So what is "m" then? I thought meters, but that would mean 3 m is about 9 feet, right? Sounds like we need to jump from at least 50 feet. I have zero clue how to complete this challenge. I need a break from attempted suicide for now.

I completed mine from one of the buildings near the Bait shop in Lagras. I had to have the horse positioned just right and jump from the highest part of the roof, which I think was slightly arched, down to the horse. When I get on a bit later, I'll try to find the exact one and post a picture of it, but if I recall, it was a building where there were two ledges/steps to climb before reaching the roof.

I think the problem I was having with this challenge was failing to "jump" off the roof. Simply walking off the edge didn't seem to count.

I did mine first try off the kinda spout of that tower next to Wallace Station, and as mentioned in Orions post above I did physically jump forward off of the pipe. I hadn't planned on it at first but after I got up there I realized my horse was a bit further away than I meant, wasn't thinking about whether I needed to "jump" onto the horse or just land on it from a fall. So yeah maybe that does have something to do with it.

I got it finally from the roof of a two-story house. Going by R* measurements, I'm guessing our players height is right at 4' tall. Yeehaw!

No, only one person needs to have it equipped. As a posse leader I was able to start the biggest fish challenge with only having mine equipped quite a few times

A friend and I had to lobby hop about 5 times before it finally worked. First time I ever completed all dailies.

The objectives have changed for the day, but I'm sure this one (like most others) will come up again soon. If you don't get the jump just right and hit the ground, it shouldn't kill you unless your health is already low.

Thanks! This is good to know going forward; we've only ever had two in the posse when doing the challenge, so we just both equipped ours and it worked. Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to tell you this or how to do this (or at least no where that I could find); I had to look it up on YouTube.

I think it's just finishing a showdown match - small, large, or featured.

 

But similar to other challenges, it might only count if you are in the match from the very beginning.

For some reason, featured did not count for me. Showdown small did.

I can't complete the Showdown objective because nice personstar still hasn't fixed the infinite loading bug. And it's been almost a week. Oh well, I hope tomorrow's objectives don't include any pvp sh*t.
