Two times been for me today. First me tried to join from main menu — infinite black screen>relog, second tried to join from travel sign — same thing. Seems like R* just laughing at players by puttin' challenges like this and break down it.

Join a showdown, blank screen for ten minutes. Restart the ps4, wait for it.... Drumroll... Tall trees 😞. Get the gold and run for the hills. Rockstar really dropped the ball on this. 

 

Seagulls, under Van Horn on some rocks. Or north of Blackwater around the estuary on some rocks. 

 

Just ride around Blackwater. Some punk feels lucky and will shoot you in the back.

 

 

 

Equip the Slippery Basterd, load up on tonics, dope your horse, because you will have to shove the Cattleman in their face. The unblinking eye gives you 10 seconds of extra dead eye. That makes all the difference. 

 

I must have been flaming red like a hot taco, because I had to fight off a lot of SJW blue dot backstabbers. Again the SB and Never Without One came to the rescue.

 

Hummingbird sage are everywhere around Rhodes. 

 

Just enter the general store, go to the clothing hanger and equip another clothing item. Easy. 

 

I skipped the explosives challenge. 

 

The bullfrogs were difficult to find. Drive up and down the sandy coast under Van Horn towards Saint Dennis. Jump servers until the frick'in frogs spawn. I eventually found them at dawn.

Bat's are, no surprise, nocturnal. Equip the unblinking eye, look at the sky at night. You can see a trail in the air, like the condensation tail of an airplane. North of Rhodes is a good spot.

There really is no easy way unless you do it with friends/posse. I avoid this one, if I wanted to be an asshat it could be done in freeroam with 2 people standing next to each other and a stick on dynamite. It could be done in a freeraom event with dynamite arrows if you get 2 people close enough.

Yeah, I'm the type that refuses to use free roam for these. I just skipped it yesterday. I mean...I tried on some Hostile Territory, but it didn't work out. Got a hilarious failure though when a door closed in front of me as I tossed dynamite and nearly blew myself up though.

Still get player kills, but in free mode events now it seems.

 

Also worth noting, you only need to do ONE challenge to start getting a bonus. I think, if I'm reading it correct

Now I'm wondering if it would work if you were one of the 2 players. 

 

Edit: I mean if someone blows themselves up but takes out one other player, is that mission accomplished?

Interesting thought. If it's not removed, maybe I'll try next time it's up and there's an AFK enemy in Showdown.

We now get double the gold for these, even without a streak. Not sure what the streak reward is.

keep completing at least one challenge a day will activate a multiplier:

7 days streak X1.5= 0.3 gold each challenge
14 days streak X2 =0.4  gold each challenge
21 days streak X2.5 =0.5  gold each challenge
28 days streak X2.5 =0.5  gold each challenge + treasure map

It's very strange: i have 20 apples for challenge Fresh produce eaten, but i can't eat them, only feed a horse. Uhm, sorry, it can be eaten straight from satchel, but not from wheel.

No idea what that even means, unless it's related to a random event. Yesterday I came across 2 ppl at a camp and had to defend them, maybe that's it.

Why does everyone get the same challenges everyday?  I was really hoping this was something that would have been addressed in the update and they would have been totally random like GTA was

It's a blue triangle icon on the radar if i correct. Saw it yesterday, but was busy doing new strangers missions and Story.
