Wingate167
Last week, I completed the "Geology for Beginners" mission. I do figure Francis Sinclair was time traveling, but I'm curious as to what his mission was? We do give him the coordinates for the carving, but when we go back to the cabin, it shows he was an infant in 1899 and his father died when he's with his mother. What do you think the purpose of his time travel was?

Jimbatron
There are so few details I think it’s very difficult to say. One thing did occur to me, it provides a possible loop hole to bring a character back from the dead, should they do an Undead Nightmare type SP add on. As simple as bringing some penicillin back in time from the 20th century!
Deadman2112
Some think that he is not only time traveling but he could be linked to the GTA Epsilon Program. ...but it's anyone's guess really. Or maybe he's just jazzed, on the hooch... Edited March 2, 2019 by Deadman2112 SneakyDeaky and Nulla Lex Ink.

He could be Kraff or a possible descendant of Kraff. I'll take the tinfoil off now. Jimbatron and Deadman2112

I never said there wasn't a strong argument for it. Nor did I say I disagreed... And... In my original post, I was pointing out the fact that some disagree with this idea; and have every right to do so because the game never really spells that out. Although there are what I would consider obvious parallels. Although I personally think it has to be the same, it's important to remember that "Definitive Proof" is a lot different than an opinion and personal beliefs about a given situation. One is circumstantial, and the other is factual. No two ways around it. So like it or not, unless R* make a concert connection, then yes... Dark Spark
One quick little aside: It was one Dr. Elliot Sinclair who invented the time machine featured in The Journeyman Project games. Doc Sinclair, in a misguided attempt to advance humanity so they can eventually reign supreme in the galaxy, tries to recruit an ancestor of his so his research gets a major head start. Things go awry and Francis needs to piece together his descendant Elliot's shenanigans across time in order to make a rendezvous at the Doc's next incursion. Edited October 22, 2019 by Dark Spark I didn't edit a thing. This came from the future!
