All they asses gonna get banned lmfao

it's stupidly easy to track that money they are making, each time I post this in that thread someone replies to me saying "no they aren't going to do anything about this" and the best one so far is someone claiming that " if they do ban whoever done that glitch, they''d be banning a large portion of the playerbase"

not sure where did this guy get his percentages from but it is what it is I guess.

The only thing that's weird to me is why are they doing it in public, nothing requires being in a public lobby.

I haven't been doing it.  I have no moral or ethical problem with the idea and certainly don't begrudge other players for wanting to take advantage of it while it's here.

But I don't play in populated lobbies and I don't race or do anything else in the game that involves other players.  So, what nifty items another player might have and how they got it-- whether they grinded for weeks to get it, or glitched the money for it overnight is immaterial to me.  I don't care because it doesn't affect me and I will never see you anyway.  I'm only ever in a populated lobby for however long it takes to NAT out to a public solo session.

As masochistic as it might sound, I actually enjoy the grind.  Although strictly speaking, it's not the grind that I enjoy but the feeling of accomplishment I get when I've hit whatever goal I set for myself.  And that's a feeling I know I can't get if the money were to just fall into my lap.  More than likely, I'll just end up quitting out of boredom.

Even these login bonuses that we periodically get from R*--  I have to head-canon these as contractual bonuses from Sercuoserve that they award me with from time to time for being a good little helicopter assassin.  I have to rationalize how my character got that money.

I agree and play the same way. I have almost 60M legit and have a lot of the stuff I want, but still wait for sales.

With so many people with huge $ from this glitch, R*'s 2x event weeks will be meaningless now to many of them.

You sound a bit too curious 😉😂

To answer your question, there are so many people doing this glitch that R* probably won't even bother looking at bank accounts and wiping anyone. They'll just drop new content at 3x the price they had planned 😂

I’m curious because I’m eager to see everyone blow up ever ‘their’ money vanishing. 😂

Judging from what everyone saying in this thread about how many doing it in each session I don't think it's far fetched saying a large portion of the playerbase does it, unless people are exaggerating of course :)

only been in one public myself but was 3-5 people in passive in one hangar on the airport and 3 in another one, haven't checked all details of the glitch so can't say who did it or not

Not trying to stir up some sh*te here, but genuinely asking: how will people finally "play the game" now that they are freed from the Grind(tm)? How will the game be different for them? What is there to do (more) that they couldn't have done before but now can? sh*t on poor grinders with the new toys they have? Do races, competing with their own Pariah or Vagner they bought months ago from one of the recurring sales selling the same vehicles already against 1-15 other Pariahs and Vagners cause everyone always has to have the fastest car? Finally being able to buy all upgraded Arena Wars cars and visit the empty modes no-one plays cause there's no need to grind, or the grind doesn't pay enough, or every single mode seems to have that one two OP vehicles and no-one uses the rest? Being able to buy all vehicles at once you never use, cause money or not, freeroam is still freeroam and it's pretty much opp vs opp vs opp vs opp vs opp.

I'd really love to hear how getting money to buy all content instantly will give people more reason to play the game or more possibilities, because my own personal experience has been that once you start running out of things to achieve or to accomplish, there's very little motivation to fire up the game again. Even griefers must feel some pain when there are less people to grief on. The one people I can think of being happy are ones who want freeroam to be pure non-stop pvp, but I can't even see that fun last long when glitchers and modders come ruin the fun. So please, help a brother out and explain how instacapping makes the game more appealing.

Well, for me it’s nice to have big car collections and all the vehicles I want. I’ll start doing the fun missions again when I know it’s not a grind. That’s the thing: I don’t have time to grind and this is a nice opportunity to get what I want. I’ll even come back to racing now. I’ve been out of it for a year now.

I agree, racing has gotten boring because I sold all the cars I owned to make room because I couldn’t afford garages seeing as I buy sharkcards and my wallet isn’t limitless. I wouldn’t mind playing missions and game modes now especially since I know I won’t have to grind for anything, it’ll be nice seeing as like you I don’t got time

Just read on another site how someone now has EVERYTHING in the game except Arena War tier unlocks and feels empty inside.

Seriously, what does he expect? Once you've got everything, what else is there to achieve?

Also a quick suggestion...

If you start Hostile Takeover you can pass on the Wanted Level to other players and it will not go away until the briefcase is delivered or he timer runs out. Have fun.

I get ya, I enjoy progressing and paving my way and am never in a hurry for anything.

That said, since 'making it' I've just gone on to enjoy the game more and more. Plodding whatever I fancy and competitive modes like racing or Adv modes/arena etc is always varied I find. Never gets old if there's competition there. Also, much gameplay is locked behind fairly substantial paywalls too and to get more GTA:O, you gotta pay so I can understand why some look to cut a corner to open this game up with how R* made things. It really does free us up to play our way rather tgan look to shut that phone up for example, lol. Bloody annoying that.

Plus for proper PvE/co-op players, stuff like heists are just great to play regardless of the end cash. Many tines now I don't even take a cut unless a host can't hear me or read English. I'll not say no to the money naturally and I'll always want my fair share if with experienced players, but gladly offer it up when I know I'm with noobs as usually they need it and a good pay out often helps success rates too I find. They listen more or keep out the way/follow rather than charge in unknowingly if they're not too good at an area as they know they can make a tidy sum, if you get me. (And if something fails/another quits a mode, I care little, lol).

That's the magic of this game, IMO. The playerbase is so big and varied in playstyles, there's rarely a dull moment, lol. And I'm one to often just be in bliss alone with my car collection coasting about on VIP works and such messing about with ways to complete those. It's extremely rare I use a populated public session, though to hear it kicking off is genuinely entertaining too, always good for a tea break. :)

Edit: Fully agree with a few here saying we should feel safe in-game from R*'s way of wiping/banning though. That's been a growing concern for me since I learned of how they handle PC after the old gen chaos.

Here is a speculation. Next Tuesday Rockstar wipes all the money made by the glitchers and divides the total amount of money evenly over all players who didn’t do the glitch. And even makes a sarcastic post about it on the newswire. Just think about it. 😂

If it means even the legit players would profit from this, everyone's happy.

Money wipes seem rare. They will probably just patch it once they figure out how to fix their code 🤣

It's hard to say what will happen in terms of consequences for those who partake in this exploit. It's very much a double edged sword for Rockstar. On one hand, people are glitching absurd amounts of cash and I honestly can't blame them for doing so, but on the other hand I've seen people logging onto the GTA that I haven't seen on there in ages. Their player numbers are likely up, and that looks good for them.

Fair enough, but that’s YOUR experience. Some people don’t want to grind because they could instead spend their time doing a plethora of other things. Hell, even playing missions/heists without worrying about payout seems like a way of enjoying the game. To me.

If you’d like a list, sure. You can spend your time possibly doing the following:

-Car meets

-Re-customizing currently owned cars

-Perfecting custom paint jobs (which get very pricey)

-Goofing around with friends/alone in freeroam

-Practicing stunts

-Doing ridiculous things like ramming huge vehicles into each other for the sake of a laugh

-Roleplaying in freeroam

-Racing

-Playing PvP modes for the sake of fun/competition without worrying about a crappy payout

-Doing ANY mission in the game without worrying about the payout

You forgot the most important one.

Killing other players in public lobbies and destroying cargo. That's what most players with glitched money do.

Do you have anything to prove the correlation between glitched money and being a trolling asshole?

It's happening already. Low level noobs flying around in jets, MKIIs and driving tanks about going nuts.

Plus, they now have unlimited troll tools at their disposal, from a catalog of weaponised vehicles to things like Orbital Cannons from being able to afford facilities.

Once this glitch is patched, and if money isn't wiped, I dare you to try and sell supplies in a full session.

Don’t think they’ll wipe or correct anything tbh. Except on PC. Kids are going nuts about it on Reddit. Would love to see the look on their faces if R* decides to correct their account.

I must say, I’ve been quite disappointed by this glitch. I logged on recently and noticed a collective of passive players idling in this hangar at LSIA. I assumed this was the rare yet exciting occurrence of an impromptu car meet, so I decided to head down there to join in on the fun. I arrive and instead of being greeted by a buzzing group of players eagerly showing off their favourite rides, I’m met with a group of invisible bodies walking around in circles :(. Wow.

eY5WSLLt_o.jpeg

I don’t have an issue with players exploiting money (I myself may or may not have recently scammed Mors Mutual out of $72,000,000 worth of Arena War Issi’s), but in my eyes this just seems far too risky.

Just figured out a new way to force players out of passive!

You can use a Cargobob to lift up a player's vehicle and smash another player with it.

The player who owns that vehicle (or who drove it last) will get the kill and be forced out of passive.

It would be awesome if only the single/double digit ranked console players who immediately bought broomstick 2.0s get b& for this. Just ban every player under 100 who bought a broomstick with cash "earned" from this glitch. Leave all the other cheaters alone, because at least they weren't SO stupid as to buy a MkII right away with completely non ambiguous stats of a noob.

Oh so this glitch also works on PC? Well sh*t. Now Rockstar is just going to wipe ogdan money as well and just claim it was the glitch.

But in actuality I hope they actually CAN trace the money from that specific glitch and just remove it.
