Passive players in the LSIA hangar ...

Just trying to sell stuff in a public lobby.    All the lower levels that would usually help you now are doing the glitch, making it nigh on impossible to sell large amounts, this in turn changing the games dynamic.  If no one needs to be associates as everyone has money, people like myself who've grinded the heck out of the game are gonna struggle to make money through i/e, gunrunning etc.

Don't get me wrong, it is really funny to watch. I actually decided to hop on and have a look for myself after reading this post. Not a few minutes later some guy decides to crash a plane into the hangar. It's kind of mesmerizing watching them walk in circles, hypnotic almost. 

 

I suppose my bottom line is that these people are just trying to grind out some money. Illegitimately, of course. Though in my eyes they're just trying to get money. And so long as that grind doesn't interfere with my own, I'll stay out of their way.

I've never once hired an associate as I play strictly solo.  It's possible to sell on your own and it isn't a struggle.  You're not under any contractual obligation to completely fill your bunker before doing a sale or to export more than one vehicle at a time.

You play solo by choice?  As your demeanor would indicate it's enforced.

Out of curiosity how do you manage to do the DD heists "solo"?

Actually, R* not only made being an Associate or MC Member unattractive as hell by making payouts as low as possible, they literally lowered the ammount of money required to become a VIP from $1,000k to like $50k.

You can normally manage to get people to join.  I've never had any issue until the past few days.  Similarly with the heists, you'd normally have no problem getting a few people playing through a full heist especially on double cash.

Since this thing barely works on PC (if it still works at all) I can`t spectate a big group of people glitching in that hangar.

I don't care if people glitch money in the game, but given the sheer number of people passive down at LSIA I do think R* needs to sort it out.

 

It's getting a bit ridiculous now. Too many people making too much money will lead to daft amounts of new cargo/business griefers.

I just crashed a giant black plane into the hanger and got 3 kills, the bandito took care of the rest... Except one brilliant guy who was in his karuma I could not get him killed and I tried everything.

Park the RC Bandito right under it or next to it.  The cops will always shoot just above your Bandito and hit the Karuma.  It'll eventually go explodey.

Get a few buds. Load into armored vehicle, kahjali/apc are probably best. Do ceo challenge most wanted. Drive to back of hangar. Sure theyre in passive mode. Cops dont care as they plow through passive glitchers to try and get to you

I play solo also, also by choice, I just prefer the lone wolf style of play, but i can see how this will ruin heists (if they're not already near death when on regular payouts).

There needs to be really GOOD incentives to play with others in the form of much better payouts, and right now I can't see any outside of hanging with crew or friends.

It seems they're very close to completely breaking the game.

Ya I thought it'd b taken care of by now. This is getting ridiculous. Is there any1 at R* the last few days? I'm no coder, but I would think it would NOT be a huge deal to fix.

This glitch is gonna have far reaching consequences unless it's patched fast.  Thousands of gamers suddenly owning everything they could possibly needs means:

 

• More griefing as they'll have access to MKIIs, jets, tanks and all sorts of weaponised vehicles
• More Orbital Cannon fires as more will buy facilities to then have access to this
• Less people joining your CEO / MC to help with missions
• Less people doing activities as they have no need to make money and will instead just use the spare time to troll
• Public sessions become far more dangerous - might as well rename them to Bad Sport sessions
• For R*, decrease in shark card sales, but we don't give a crap about that
• When the eventual patch and possible wipe occurs, no doubt innocent people will get caught up in it, further alienating R*'s true fan base
