Just me venting a little bit. I've been playing GTA most of my life - it's basically the only franchise I've played. Finally let Rockstar's actions (and inaction) get to me last night.

What I find the most hilarious thing is that everyone was so focused on this glitch that the Slamvan Dupe Glitch (as I call it) was also existing alongside it, allowing people who did both of these glitches to net obscene amounts of money if they did all of those things. Me, personally? I managed to get close to $50,000,000 in laundered money out of those two glitches, so I'm happy nonetheless. People are quick to worry about impending bans, but I've done other glitches in the past and have yet to be banned because of it. The people need to relax, 'cause the worst that'll happen is maybe a money wipe.

 

Saying that, though, the large-scale carnage going on RN with every low-level having a Tiny-Willy-Mobile has forced me to retract back into solo public sessions ATM, so that's not very good. :V

He was a level 40 something and didn't look like a tryhard so I was hoping he valued his money and I was in a jet in a dogfight and did not want to go passive. I did not expect to get hit back to back that was a first though. It don't really matter I killed everyone not in passive until they left or went passive.

I'm playing far cry until those annoying passive popping low levels in maxipads mark2 get dealt with. I can't bother with this game right now. Earlier today there was these 2 low levels squeakers bragging about making 100's of millions and acting like they're some sort of wrecking ball army of 2 passive popping and blowing people cargo. I tried to help the poor soul doing cargo and got oc twice both of them chumps one after the other.

 

Rockstar need to take their money and troll bikes away. Call me whatever you like but this glitch made a badsport lobby look like heavens compare to the hell zone gta o free roam lobby is currently.

No joke, I was in a contact mission with a level 12 yesterday, who had a hanger and an Akula. f*cking madness. At level 12 back in the day, I didn't even have a garage yet, my PV was a Canis Mesa I nicked off the street and an SMG was my most powerful weapon.

As many posts have mentioned, these players will miss out on a lot of the fundamentals of the game, like, knowing how to actually play the game. TBH I have mixed feelings about it; on the one hand I feel sorry for them, on the other I really detest the way R* puts such massive price tags on EVERYTHING. It's really not fair to new players who want to make the most out of the game and enjoy the toys but who don't want to buy a Starter Pack or a Shark Card. 

 

Good luck to them, I say. They will be cannon fodder for more experienced players, but at the same time there's less chance of them being griefed to the same extent some of us were at that level in the early days. New players are fearless, they don't give a fu*k lol. They're not tainted with wanting to protect KD and they probably don't even know what EWO is yet, they just dive right in and blow sh*t up. It's going to keep a few tryhards on their toes that's for sure.

Not all low levels are noobs, don't forget caricature 2 slot. I have a low level caricature 2 (19), to all the griefers it looks like a easy kill but because of the shared bank and buying a MOC i can access all mk2 guns and upgrade them, buy a plane, a mk2 broom or what ever i like if i have the cash. If griefers come calling, they soon get a surprise with explosive shot gun shells in their face..

Um how are you a low level with access to explosive rounds did you bought all the research again?

With the bank my main character has, if I wanted to I could by all research in next to no time on my 2nd character. 

 

I'll not, but it could be done pretty quickly legitimately for sure.

Plus you don't need to do everything, just the highlights like ammo types and so on, so likely you'll only do what 75% or summat. I know my alt has everything I wanted, but still has research to do.

I know that I was just wondering since my bank is sitting at 38 mil that I've been saving up. My main character has all the research. But my 2nd one only has some unlocked. I don't wanna waste 10 millions unlocking them all so I'm waiting for a potential double research event so i can drop 5 millions instead.

That's a huge problem tho as research is rng. I've unlocked about 10 of them with my 2nd character but, no ammo type yet while my first one got the explosive ammo on my second try and the incendiary rounds on the third one. I don't really wanna drop money in a bunch of liveries i don't want I do wish I could just choose what I want instead.

Yeah ill continue to save my money if I get close to 50 mils I'll definitely drop the 10 millions for them all. But right now with a potential new dlc around the corner maybe in april I don't want to waste any of my money because I'm saving up for it. 

 

I can see rockstar amping up the prices in the new dlc because of the afk glitchers while f*cking over, everyone else who didn't do the glitch.

The game is an insane grind, especially for new players, no doubt. Even so, its a shame these low level players using the glitch will miss out on the experience of finally getting things it takes most players lots of time to obtain. I guarantee it will ruin the game for a fair amount of them..

 

sh*t, there's so many businesses and ways to play and make money these days, even the honest players will never know that feel of Bikers dropping, or finally getting I/E and another heist. Getting new ways to play the game after sticking with it for years. Even with all of its many faults, this is still the most fun I've had playing an online game.

Rockstar ruined the game for them tbh. Working towards an Adder with only access to Contact Missions etc. was a rewarding grind; starting at the same point and having to work towards buying multimillion dollar businesses piecemeal, plus essential upgrades, which you need to be able to grind towards even more expensive vehicles in forced public sessions with instant death/destruction of product only a click away is a demoralising chore. Sitting at the top with our maxed-out Bunkers and Nightclubs producing $millions for (almost) nothing, we long-termers forget how hard it is to get to that position legitimately.

 

Although saying that, you can pick up the game+a Shark Card/Criminal sh*tterprise Starter Pack for a fraction of the price we paid just for the standalone game back in the day, so there's always that option to get a foot on the financial ladder.

Got lucky, some research was already unlocked for some reason and the explosive rounds came in quite early. Just bought supplies and afk until i got them.
