It was created from NASA files of scans of the planet, and converted into SAMP objects. I commissioned a 3D modeler to make this. Unfortunately, he left a few 'holes' in the map and some invisible sections, above the surface in some places. Otherwise, this map would be great for RPGs. Valles Marineris is a system of canyons that runs along the Martian surface east of the Tharsis region. Jeansowaty Posted March 20, 2019 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Looks okay, though if I were you I'd make some cosmetic differences in daytime, Mars' sky is pretty much beige, sometimes orange-ish and sometimes a little more blue. While in night time, you don't see the sun this large, that looks more like what you would see from Mercury's surface perhaps you could replace that with one of Mars' moons, Phobos or Deimos? Well, let me tell you that I have extensively searched for NASA photos of the sky, land, and other surface features of Mars, I have also looked time and weather for setting the sky to more resemble Mars ( for my OWN server). My whole purpose of this Thread is to upload my Mars map to other players, so that they can use it for themselves. I hate to mention the obvious! If you or anyone else wants to create their own sky and weather conditions for your server --- go for it... Sorry I do not meet your expectations of my pics.
