He’s basically the Italian-American version of the Russian, Vlad Glebov imo as they’re both macho womanizers who are very sarcastic. Yes, both of them are pricks but to me, they’re both likable pricks unlike Manny Escuela, Mori Kibbutz, and well, most GTA V characters. Because of Ray’s major attitude problem, combined with the fact that he hangs out with metalhead bikers (despite eventually betraying them) and his rather “hip” fashion sense, working at Hot Topic and Spencer’s might also be a good job for this particular mobster, lol. He didn't do anything wrong and was one of the few people who actually DID something for Niko other than paying him. A very reliable Mission Giver. Feel free to share your thoughts on this guy. Now that you mention it, I just realized that he's very similar to Vlad (although more friendly, which is a plus here ). It's ironic how everyone considers him a snake, when in fact, he was the one who was surrounded by snakes (including Johnny boy ). One of my favorite characters. The guy literally cared about Ashley more than Johnny did. It was clear to see why Niko felt awful for killing Ray. I liked Jim, he was probably one of the only Lost MC Members I liked, but Ray only had him killed because Johnny screwed him over on his own selfish impulse. But I don't get it why people (well other characters or fans) labelled him as a snake really beyond me. He helped Niko to find Florian/Bernie. There was no proof that he was doing something behind Jimmy Pegorino. As Rossa said, he is responsible for Jim's death although it was in a response of Johnny stealing his money and the one that he actually wanted to kill was Johnny anyway (well Niko was his hired gun). And as Rossa said again, he cared for Ashley. As for his age, I'd like to think he is actually 42 but eh, gotta go with what Rockstar has, lol. On a serious note I always felt bad for killing Ray. Infact I wish R* kept the original design for Pest Control giving us the choice to kill Ray or Phil. Most of the other choices tend to be black and white, but I'm not sure who I would've chosen as neither done anything necessarily wrong by Niko making it a far more difficult choice in the heat of the moment. Someone said you would be able to be friends with Phil if you chose to spare him but uhhh, what the hell do the two of them have in common enough to have a friendly rapport and hold conversations and go out and do stuff with? I think it's all baseless rumor anyways. They're both pretty good guys but uhhhh, Ray? He's, like, kinda hot.
