LazlowsucksiloveslutS
What happens if a game for xbox one has a native resolution of 1080p and you set your console resolution at 480p? Older games for 360 and ps3 should be fine but Im not sure about newer games. I wanto know because I like to play games in smaller window. Playing widescreen 16:9 on a big ass or even medium sized tv f*cks with me.
DEALUX
What do you mean by smaller window? Lowering the resolution will not make the game run in a window and this is the weirdest thing I've heard. Why would you not want to run games at their native res? The Xbox One does not support 480p though. Lowest is 720p. Jason
Yea even if you could do it the game would still fill the screen which would mean you'd be running at 480p on a 1080p screen. The image quality would be atrocious. If you want to play on a smaller screen, get a smaller screen. 4:3 support on consoles is pretty much dead though if that's what you're after. luisniko
If you set it to be 480p, then it will output as 480p video.
DEALUX
My One X does not support 480p. Pretty sure the standard Xbox doesn't either. Jason
There's no need to support 480p on the current consoles basically, they're all HDMI only and you'd well to find a non-HD TV that has a HDMI port. DEALUX
