Indeed, and as long as we can manage our locker im fine with it, im tired of equiping the normal one instead of the reinforced, the same with the trader knife, I would like to see it when skinning animals too.

It's amazing how many players just don't know when to quit.

 

It's happened to me a few times where I've been randomly killed, I've gone to try and settle the score and quickly realised that the other player is just better at PvP than me.

 

Sometimes I'll keep going for a while because taking an ass kicking is a good way to learn and improve, but I'm not going 10-0 down, I'll parley and move on.

 

I've been the one handing out the ass kicking and ended up being the one who changed lobby a couple of times because the other player just kept coming.

Had fun torturing a cheater/griefer.

I was towing a deer back to my camp and I thought I saw a bullet trail go by, donated the 2 deer and was shot dead with a rolling block while inside my camp with the white flag up.

I reported and parleyed him, finished what I wanted to do in camp, restocked ammo, ate some stew, ordered more ammo from the catalog, then sat peacefully in my chair while the red dot climbed up the southern hill of Citadel Rock waiting for parley to end.

 

Then I heard him come over to my camp while I was checking awards to see if any were close to resetting.

He started throwing fire bottles, so I threw a few emotes at him for fun, then he turned to throw fire bottles at my horse, so I slapped his horse, he fell off and Cripps wasted him with 1 shot. 

 

It was pretty hilarious, but that had disabled my defensive, so as I saw him coming back I left so he couldn't get his revenge, besides I had something to do anyway.

After days of playing by my own ,yesterday i was attacked by a 6 members posse... it could have been worse really, they at least respected my horse.

 

with tonics and sort of guerrilla tactics i was always  able to kill 3 of them with my dual cattleman, my rolling block and bolt action and then be blundered by a rain of bullets... they pursued me for around 40 minutes... of course i could have changed sessions but i refused to back down in front of those f*ckers. Eventually they got bored and only three of them continued the grief... i kick their asses alone with tonics... everything was gags and fun until one of them started with explosive rounds in dual mausers, what a dimpsh*t... i killed all of them one last time and finally changed sessions... the general positive here was that they didnt destroy any merchandise and just attacked in free roam, nevertheless i cant really understand how 6 dudes can find pleasure in shooting a one fellow, thats like harastment really.

That's something I learned in both RDRs.  If you're not strapped for time, you can really piss them off by refusing to back down. Repeatedly attack the weakest member, if they try to leave attack them again. You're wasting they're time in the process. Mute the background chatter and never reply if they send you a DM with the usual BS insults. Drives them nuts.

Six people attacking one is just totally messed up; even in a video game it's screwed up on multiple levels.

Here's two screen caps of me beating god mode players in Fool's Gold.

 

 

 

Both of them where pretty incompetent, so it was basically pick up the armor, and farm more of everyone else running around who has no idea what they're doing more than the god mode loser. But beating people with actual cheats in a pvp mode is pretty dang satisfying.

Yeah, a rank 45 going 16-0 isn't very believable.

The rank 119 is a little more possible, but 26-0? Not likely.

I actually found Fool's Gold a fun way to get pvp dailies as long as there are no posses,and no one takes it seriously after it's over.

The same with Dispatch Rider.

I mean going 16-0 is entirely doable, but these people I laid into with explosive ammo and did zero damage.

 

I use my PVE build in Fool's Gold (PIB, Live for the Fight, Eye for an Eye, Strange Medicine), being able to regen with the armor on is pretty much broken.

I ran into a griefer by the name of "Andromedacy" well outside of Tumbleweed; AFAIK he just spawned in to the session, because he was nowhere on the radar until I saw him within a few feet of me.

 

Not sure if he was using any cheats; he seemed to take a lot of damage, but was likely just using ability cards and tonics, etc. He was using the improved bow--not sure if that explains how he got a headshot on me when he barely had time to aim (unless lucky?) I need to keep moving more often, and yeah--my PvP skills tends to suck. NPCs aren't good enough practice for PvP encounters.

 

Anyway, I learned an important lesson (again) when it comes to griefers: either leave the session immediately, or shoot first and ask questions later. I hesitated to do either, and paid the price for it.

 

Thankfully, I did get the final snipe kill, but only after he had killed me four times.

Kicked a griefer's rump last night in Valentine (by the name of "D3thpunch") after one of his posse members took the first shot at me, then proceeded to run to the northeast edge of town for safety. lol

 

He could have nailed me easily if he wasn't trying for bow shots ...and I know; I take too long finding my tonics. lol (BTW, the action is over ~2 min. in).

Something similar happened to me tonight! I was just posting about it in the B&M thread because I hate how Rockstar has lassos enabled against other players for these animal escort missions.

 

Some dude started lassoing me from the get-go, I could not even participate in the mission. As soon as I'd start trying to focus on shooting enemies, he was after me. Was obviously singling me out. Then he dragged me over to the bear and I realized what his intentions were. I finally called him out in voice chat and several very nice players kindly jumped in and we all started lassoing him over and over again.

 

Wish I had a video of it. It was awesome. Finally after making him suffer for awhile, I dragged him over to the bear and he was mauled to death just like your guy.

 

It made me very pleased.

Not believable at all. It's not impossible to get high kills and low deaths if you stay out of the main battle but picking up a suit makes it near impossible for anyone to get zero death.

Whats happening with this game in this month ? Seems like invaded by idiots lol... yesterday i was approached by a player from behind... i was prepared to quick draw but he greeted me. I though he was friendly and dropped my guard... wrong!!! he rammed me with his horse and tried to kill me by melee, i guarded and quickly executed him with my gun.

 

Well it didnt end there, i entered the store to change my clothes and was stomped from the side, i executed him again, and when i was leaving the town and get over with it i was shot down by his posse... what a clowns, they killed me with explosives... even if they were more and outnumbered me... basically rockstar wet dream in a nutshell.

 

Short story, when i revived they are all coming at me, i am no pussy to run so i faced them all by myself... there werent near good, almost all their kills were due to explosive rounds, only one of them didnt used them: clowns or kiddos, i changed my ammo and took them all down in a row, then when i had the chance i killed them with my carcano with express to produce an escape frame and changed sessions... what a lowkey douches... those explosive rounds are sh*t, they really are, they either kill you in one shot and when it not, it drops you the ground... it is literally an ammo for kids that want to face adult or no brain and unskilled bullies.

It is very quiet on this topic. R* limited the number of players in a session for some time. So it was very peaceful. Legendaries spawned left, right and center. I completed three legendaries that eluded me for quite a while in one session. Now I have all Gus outfits. In other words: pure bliss.

 

 Now the sessions are more populated again. So the chance of encountering a dong has increased. Fresh meat is back on the menu again.

 

 

There was a daily challenge of making a photo of another player. Some newbie thought he had a free pass.

 

 

I love the moment when you turn the tables and the griefer realises that he/she is on the bottom of the food chain. Noobie parlayed immediately.
