So I understand the concept of cheat codes and how to enter them in. However, there is one particular code that never works for me and that is “You flourish before you die”. I checked it on the list, return to my gameplay and it never restore any of my health, stamina and deadeye. I return to the cheat list and sure enough it’s unchecked! Anyone else have this issue?

Some cheat codes are locked until you’ve unlocked them by progessing in the game and picking up newspapers.

 

when you pick up news paper read the headlines and when you find a paper with the cheat code name “you flourish before you die” then it will

unlock.

A list of all the newspapers you own will be displayed. Look for boxouts that contain phrases which can be entered into the cheats page to unlock RDR2 cheats.

That particular cheat is not locked behind a newspaper.

 

I haven't had that issue, but I might suggest using the cheat that fortifies them instead "You seek more than the world offers" However that one is locked behind a newspaper.
