ThaBirdCoot Posted February 21, 2019 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Ever since the 18th of february I have been witnessing the following issues with Gang hideouts - Hideout spawns, red glow area present but shrinks and dissapears upon entering the zone, the map icon however is still displayed - Enemy blips and leader blip non existent - No pop up notifications for starting or clearing the hideout - Loot option sometimes not displayed even with bodies laying in the open - No xp bonus for killing all hostile npc's please let me know if you have encoutered the same glitch and what platform you were playing on, I am on PS4 Also for those who care submit a ticket here https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/115001624507?step=dea4b872 so they eventually get a fix out in the coming years or months Thx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I agree, I had the animal spawn glitch and just called it quits. As for the hideouts they are only stable as in they do spawn at the usual hours but I witness all the issues I listed above, each and every time. No matter how many players are around. I can be isolated at the other side of the map and it's the same. What worries me is that this is a more recent bug so I don't expect it to be fixed on the 26th with the coming update. A few of them work, but most don't. I'm on PS4. If you don't get the notification on top left corner "Clear hideout.." it's going to bug out. I still do them for the kill xp but it's very frustrating not getting the 180xp now for clearing bandits. Haven't really triggered many bandit attacks either btw, now that I think about it. What has worked for me past few days: Kamassa River (several times) Bear Claw Camp (1 time) Siltwater Strand (West Bayou) (several times) Quaker's Cove (1 time) Broken for me: Solomon's Folly Twin Rocks, Gaptooth Breach Lakay, Mossy Flats at Fort Brennand Firewood Rise Fort Riggs Radley's Pasture Also frequently lobby glitches out and I have no free roam mission icons or cannot see the place and time when arrow down. Just stopped playing online for now, absolutely no point in trying. A shame I'm missing out on the xp. I thought they finally fixed sh*t, but several others after that failed to trigger, icons still popped up now and then. same for stranger missions: managed to start and finish "on the hunt" twice, also failed to load a dozen of other recoveries/repos though. I'm on Xbox so my game is currently horrifyingly broken. Lol - No Animals/NPCs - Gang hideouts are sometimes working sometimes not. - Horse won't spawn. - After I play a match of "Name your Weapon" and then go into free roam, my horse will spawn but I am Invisible to others when mounted. - game freezes when I go into shops and leave the the stable. And it crashes constantly. I have a possible fix for that. Join the red dead 2 community clubs. Search club members playing online, join. This is the only way I have found working servers. After 5 days of nothing, I was able to play all night last night with no disconnects. Made $400 and ranked 1 level. Hope this helps. People are quick to blame the players baked potato internet connection, but in reality, R*s servers just suck. This is the only game I've ever had connection issues with.
