Official guide weapon efficiency per size

Hi there partners,

 

Who has the official guide and can explain what does mean the "Perfect" label when it's written in read? I'm asking because I hunt some beavers with the carbine repeater as it's suggested in the book but a 3 stars animal gives me only a good pelt while I shoot the head in a single shot.

 

Some "Perfect" labels are black and others are kind of read. Does red mean not so efficiency? Not sure to understand.

Got it, it's the "optimal weapon type" when written in red. I think there's an error in the book since it writes perfect in red for the repeater but in the compendium it says the varmint is the best, while the varmint is n/a for medium sized animal.

Hmm...Honestly never noticed then again I tend to use either the Varmint or Poison Arrows for everything about Fox size and under then Poison Arrows for anything larger unless the distance it too great so I go to a scoped sniper for all headshots
