Transform race without using the lobby vehicle ?

Hello, i see that some transform races are not using the lobby vehicle, but when i try to do it i can't test and publish the race because the game wants for me to use it at least once, is there a trick to allow me to make a race only with a vehicle from the vehicle list ?

Which Transform Races don't use a Lobby Vehicle? As far as I know, all of Rockstars feature a lobby vehicle.

You will need one Checkpoint to Transform to the Lobby vehicle...

 

You can set this Checkpoint to be a Secondary Checkpoint then ‘hide’ it so it is not used when racing. I have done this a few times to Create Ambulance, Police Cruiser races etc where you stay in one vehicle for the whole race.

No problem, it might take a couple of goes to get it right but it works really well when you get it.

 

Also I prefer to create a normal race first, then change it to a Transform race otherwise your Start/Finish Checkpoint can sometimes default to a ring/circle Checkpoint.
