Excessively laggy or  afk will get my vote, but in most cases, its broken and you only have an option to kick one random player, and everyone piles on for lulz i guess.

However I once voted to kick someone who lagged like sh*t. Reminded me of that lag switching scum of gta. I‘m afraid there‘s a way to abuse that somehow, since I‘ve seen people do it on reddit too.

What gets me is why anybody would want to vote kick a rank 38 noob when there's 100's and 200's.

Afk players. Drive me insane!!!!

There's one guy (JamesMurphy746 lvl 230+) always afk and I frequently get stuck in same sessions as him. Blocked him on PSN and I still get matched into same lobby. Next time I'll just record it a couple of matches and send it to R*.

I really don't understand why people go through the effort of this? I've watched him spawn in, find somewhere safe at the edge of the map and just sit there, occasionally moving about to stay in game. So every few minutes he has to do something. Really can't understand the motivation for this, surely it's more fun to actually play?

Also, he can't be making too much XP if he's not doing much?

Sorry, for the rant. To answer you're question that's the only time I vote to kick. I've been voted on before but rarely kicked, I think people just vote players they can't beat. They should just go back to the kiddy table and play the small showdown and leave the large ones if they can't keep the pace and have to resort to kicking players.

Forced coop is why I've barely touched story missions since I completed them all for myself.

Therein lies the issue with punishing players for mistakes they didn't make. They had it right the first time with Gta Online's contact missions, if your team goes down you can still go on without them, complete the mission, and get paid just the same. Such systems result in a zero tolerance policy for inexperienced players. You cannot blame them, being harshly punished for mistakes you didn't make really sucks. Its made worse when those same players almost always vote to restart from the checkpoint, making the entire thing pointless. This does not even cover the fact that you could choose who came with you in Gta Online, or even doing it solo if you wanted.

Seasoned players like most of us here don't need a team to lean on, we can do these missions on our own easily, and its what most of us would do most likely. If given the power to do this then you would not even have to worry about getting kicked cause you would never even cross paths with us in the first place.

Yeah, in GTAO I was happy to bring noobs along when I ran Contact Missions knowing I could handle it all solo if need be. I'm happy to partner with noobs for Stranger Missions, as long as they listen. Story Missions are just too many layers of hassle.

Careful, some low ranks can be better than the high ranks...I proved this over the weekend.  I had to CARRY a team through if the hat fits with my RANK 5 character playing with 3 people ranked from mid 20's-50's.  I revived the highest ranked player once along with one of the other players, probably got the most kills using just the carbine repeater, and was the only person who seemed to attempt to take my time and also know about the ending of accepting offer and then turning him in anyway.  That low ranked player(I.E. me) could have another account ranked in the 80's and may have done them several times before;).....Also, everyone has to start somewhere

100% true. Don't judge people based on their ranks.

Unless of course they're low rank in free roam and try and shoot you for no reason. In that case they are deserving of their current rank and can't fight when actually challenged. These players are hangers on from GTAO. They won't last without Operssor Mk II's and will go back to Los Santos or Fortnite where they belong.

There's exceptions, sure. But more often than not, its the low ranks that either screw up by dying, or rush through the mission, cus they do not know how the system works.

And again I do not care if new guys has to start somewhere. Its not gonna be on my mission. I'm fine with not being as honorable and awesome a human being as the rest of you.

You were new once too, or maybe still are considered low ranked or new to others.  But I get it and to each their own.

I was. And I ruined the missions alot too. Yeah I'm only rank 87 but think I got the hang of it by now. Low rank in a story mission is under rank 25-30 imo.
