What happened to Forelli Capo?

One of the guys who are arguing with Sonny about leaving Tommy's prison at the start of the game, I bet a lot did not give him the least, but I did. At the end of the game he accompanies Sonny and his men to Vice City to get the money lost on the exchange with Vercetti but he only appears in the cutscene and after that he disappears without helping the Forellis defeat Thomas. Whatever you think happened to him.

Probably went into hiding to save his sorry ass. He had no chance against Vercitti at that point. Forellis had no hold in Vice City whatsoever. He must have decided that it was better to run and live to another day.

Yeah, that's pretty much the logical answer in that he was despawned after the cutscene - ofcourse it's always nice to hypothesize so I'd say given the rest of the mission he probably got shot by Tommy at some point.

Looking at this list https://gtamods.com/wiki/023C, Rockstar have not included his model to have spawned while outside the cutscene. What a pity, because it would be cool to have him featured in the final mission. Maybe even give a choice to player let him free or let him die?
