I was browseing another board I saw this post by some guy named Thomas-Vercetti and thought it was pretty good.

Hey guys, I've made a few discoveries about the cars in Vice City, some cool, some annoying, some interesting, and some just gruesome. I know a lot of this is known, but I know a lot of it isn't. So, Here I am, to share this with you.

 

I was going to Phil's place to get the Patriot. I took it out for a spin and wrecked it. I then went back to get another one and noticed it looked a little different. I put it next to the old one and examined them.

 

Both of them had the same look; open bed with nothing in the back. I looked down and immediately realized that some of them have side-step bars under the doors, and some don't. I then kept getting Patriots and looked at them and realized that there are 8 unique types, rather than 4:

 

1. Open bed, no rollbars, side step bars

2. Open bed, no rollbars, no side step bars

3. Bed cover, no side step bars

4. Bed cover, side step bars

5. Rollbars in bed, side step bars

6. Rollbars in bed, no side step bars

7. Camper shell over bed, side step bars

8. Camper shell over bed, no side step bars

 

I just thought yall would want to hear that so you could see for yourselves. The step-side Hummers look really nice.

 

Another thing I found out was that some Taxis and Cabbies are Darker than others. I don't know why exactly, but some have dark bumpers, and others have light bumpers.

Another Taxi oddity is the windshield. Taxis (not cabbies) have these weird large ovals all over the windshields. Weird huh?

 

I'm sure a few have noticed this one: On many cars in Vice, you can't damage their right sides. The left side will shred if you scrape along the wall with your right side. Here's a list I formed of the cars with this glitch:

 

1. Comet

2. Cabbie

3. Kaufman Cab

4. Zebra Cab

5. Cuban Hermes

 

Another thing I'm sure everyone notices is the teddy bear tied to the grills and lights on the Gang Burritos. Freakish.

 

Some cheetahs have one mirror, some have two, and some have none. Also, a few of them have one mirror that is higher up than on the other Cheetahs.

 

If you take a Packer (the truck with the ramp on the back) onto any sandy or off-road area and do a burnout, you can make the thing spin like a lawn mower blade! Just hold down X and Square at the same time, then pull to the left or right. It goes so fast, it'll make people fly so far if you hit them.

 

If I think of any more I'll post them, hope you learned something new to try!

 

The packer trick is pretty neat and some of the glitches he found I didn't even know existed!!

I posted this on these forums 2-3 weeks ago. The topics name was "Packer Super Spin". But hey, there's some of the things I didn't know, not many though. Actualy just the Patriot thing.

wow, good stuff there hehe about 3 months ago there was a topic posted about how there is nothing left in vice to see but i guess we keep learning som,ething new evryday lol
