Damn that sucks. Epilogue was molested with the day one patch onwards. 

 

The catalogue is probably the same in 1.02 as it is in 1.00 in that it has no lag.

That's a burden in 1.00 I'm afraid. They don't have individual coding so they all behave like Arthur's pistol belt.

In Epilogue part 2 now, having trouble with John's belt and holster.

The gun is clipping through the holster and it won't let me go back to johns standard one after changing it.. anyone else had this issue?

After the online patch, the horizon just looked like a flat backdrop. Details were blurry. No depth effect anymore. And almost constantly fog.

Anyone gotten deep into the game on oatch 1.01? If so have you noticed any gameplay issues, game breaking bugs?

On my patch 1.05-1.06 patch play through on X1X I think I found less than 5 bugs throughout the whole 60hr experience. Wish we could choose which patch to roll back to

No one has patch 1.01, it was not released to the general public. The day one patch is version 1.02

 

I can't seem to get the Gold Bar glitch to work. Whenever I go to Limpany or Braithwaite Manor the gold bar is sitting behind the lockbox, and saving when he goes to pick it up and then reloading and picking it up again only gives me one gold bar. Tried it a couple of times now.

On X1X, you go into manage games and add ons where the updates show and it states in the top right hand corner which patch you are on. Mine says 1.01.

 

I'm uk based so not sure if this is different to US players?

Is there anyway they could force us out of using V1.00? I see more and more popular posts telling people to downgrade, annnd we all know R* is always watching & reading. Those greedy f*cks will do anything for a dollar.

^Nah, as long as we got the disc and are offline, there's nothing they can do to stop us from playing on the game we f*cking bought. The downgrade was a low, shady move. Should be considered false advertising, but they wouldn't do something like that without making sure it's technically legal, as I think the EULA states we are merely buying license to play the game, in any state they see fit.

What i found really annoying about 1.01 is a cloud disappearing at the evening. It is looking so dizzy and not natural that i really want to upgrade my game to the latest patch

 

Because on my PS4 i have no issues with clouds. 

Now i am playing on X1X.

I play on the original Xbox, not the X, do you guys really think it's worth downgrading the game even on the base consoles? If it's just the Ambient Occlusion and some of John's clothes details reduced, also Arthur access to New Austin and some other glitches fixed , I can live with that... Considering bugs and everything else.

I also play it on the base console, and i would say its worth downgrading, you get ambient occlusion and the world just feels much more alive and real

I think it's worth trying at least... If anything, there's always how to go back to 1.07 anyway.

Just tested for myself, it definitely looks a little better, about 10% better!? However, the game feels unfinished in 1.00, the performance is worse, even the Mini Map is laggy. I'm going to update it back to 1.07... But it was interesting to see how beaultiful it can be!

If my item wheel wasn't f*cked I wouldn't have any complaints about 1.00.

 

Well, I also haven't tried to rob a train again, last time I tried all the passengers disappeared after I stopped the train in the tunnel.

I will say that the duster coat has horrible clipping with John on an unpatched game. his white collar keeps coming through the top of the coat.
