Not really game breaking, but if you take your horse's saddle off in Beechers Hope in the patched version, it spawns on the roof and in the unpatched version it spawns at the campfire near John's room.

I want to put my V1.00 copy on external storage for safe keeping. does anybody have a recommended storage device that’s compatible with Xbox for a reasonable price? I saw a 2TB one but it was pretty expensive

I’m so mad! I tried to look for any new info about this situation and spoiled the story mode in like 60 seconds. People are now putting major spoilers right into the names of youtube videos  I will rely just on this thread from now on.

Seriously?! The game has been out for nearly 6 months now, how long do you expect people to keep the story secret? 

 

Its almost like saying I went on YouTube to look some info about GTA V and the story mode got ruined for me - you can kill either Trevor or Michael in the end? I’m so disappointed...  what did they put spoilers in the title? Come on man, be real.

Couple of glitches I've seen a few times now...

 

1st one is a dead horse just northwest of Rhodes at the crossroad. Think it's been there since the Moonshine mission with Hosea, but not sure it's connected.

I've been all over the map since then and it's still there

 

2nd is a stack of money attached to Arthur's right hand that moves around in the air as you walk. This has happened twice, it's pretty weird.

 

But overall, loving this version

There is no need to put free spoiler like you did on a forum on youtube, it's just an ass attitude.

 

This is why I avoid to take any info of the games I care on forums and such, I'll just play them and look for easter eggs and stuff after I finished them.

 

Spoiling stuff when you can just hide with the spoiler function or not saying at all cost nothing, so yeah, f ppl that spoil anything just for the sake of doing it.

Ok 1.00 looks gorgeous but it’s bugged to all hell, minimap stuttering, lag on icons on map, weird weather and render effects, sound bugs, and messy title screen

 

i wish there was a way to just have the day one patch installed

The weather and render effects look normal to me same with the title screen, only the map is laggy

Tittle screen doesn’t have a black background, not like its a big deal anyway. 

 

The clouds that appear over the grizzlies were way too close to the ground for me, and it was rendering a hill weirdly in the mission where you and eagle flies attack the oil fields for the first time in chapter 4. The camera also looks sideways when i was low on health unless it was just because my horse changed

 

 

theres a reason why the day one patch is like 4 gigs

I wish it was possible to go to patch 1.02 instead of 1.00 but its not i don't think, we either go to patch 1.00 which has some little bugs, or go to patch 1.07 which removes ambiant occlusion and has more bugs because they never tested the singleplayer

I dont mean to bitch either but i just noticed that the render distance is waaaay too far in 1.00, you can even see the cell loading in some areas, you usually cant see hennigans stead from the heartlands but in 1.00 its clear as day and outlined by mountains very clearly with no fog present, I don’t remember this in patched versions, rockstar really needs to get their sh*t together seeing as this is also affecting online, not that i care about online

 

but atleast the game looks like its supposed to for the most part which is  gorgeous

In 1.00 “hunted” will appear on the screen like in the gameplay trailer when you get into a fight with bounty hunters and you lose honor for killing them

Don't hate me but I already have up on version 1.00 it's to buggy for me a lot of pop in issues the graphics look better I guess... I don't know I don't have a good eye on that, the only thing worth for me is New Austin but I'm done with that for now. Anyway I'm going back to the latest patch and see if it is that broken like everybody is saying.

The same thing happened with V and they fixed it

 

I hope they include and option to turn AO on and off because the framerate is much improved in the patched version

They only fixed the downgrades in V because they were called out immediately by big sites like Eurogamer and as such issued a statement shortly after saying they were aware of the downgrades and were fixing it.

 

It's been almost 5 months now and nobody big called them out and they haven't even acknowledged it with a statement. It's just full focus Red Dead Online.

Eurogamer said they are too busy and the other sites don't think it's worth it due to not being as popular as GTA V.

I do not think that on the consoles optical improvements still come. At some point Rockstar wants to sell the PC version. Earlier console owners can then buy again - for better PC graphics.

Why haven't they expanded and got more people involved with creating their games? They could still release the best content ever and at a faster rate if they had more people working for them.

It all goes back to the Houser Brothers anyway, and they know when something is great quality.

So why not get more people involved so they can get games out quicker? You'd think they'd have sussed this by now 

It just seems confusing because they're worth so much money so it's not like funds are a problem.

I think Take Two are holding them back tbh.

Nah Take Two isn't holding them back. It's their choice what they want to do with the games.

Trams in 1.00 have the correct Pacific Union Railroad design in the Epilogue whearas in the patched version it still has the 1899 Cornwall design in the Epilogue.
