If your 1.05 your playing a slightly better version of the game than 1.06 and 1.07 so I'd recommend either sticking with this version or getting an external hard drive and move it to it and install version 1.00 from disc on your internal hard drive.

go offline mode and reinstall, it doesn't load the epilogue saves tho

Oh, so the same thing as on PS4. What if I start a brand new game? Not like I'm gonna have epilogue saves to load tbf.

I had to delete my saves to make it load on 1.00...you can still save your original saves in the cloud

Ah so saves don't work huh I won't downgrade until I plan on doing a third playthrough, I've just finished the second one yesterday.

On PS4 all saves work, but on Xbox its pot luck

Check this out:

At 2:22 - 2:28, the water reflections are less detailed on 1.07.

And if you pause at 1:20, they changed the glasses with a less detailed / transparent material (why would they even do that?).

 

Sorry if this is already known, but I wonder if we missed something else aswell.

Maybe, daltontigerboy can help us out by having another research, like when he spread misinformation about 1.02.

 Could’ve easily been taken care of if they added the guns and clothes to the singleplayer mode. But I guess that’s too much prepare for another bull s hit drip feed update for online and more of the ignoring for singleplayer. Damn man we can’t even get F ucking guns added to the damn game what the f u I is going on and John’s hair still isn’t fixed hahahahahaha wow!!

I'm welling to assume that the guns were in the game or made for SP at some point and then got  deleted, so they can be released for online, it happened with GTAV and I can easily see them do it for this one too.

Hey all I own a physical copy of the game on PS4 so I know I can revert back to 1.0. Just curious can anyone sum up the advantages and disadvantages of doing so. Obviously I know about the graphical stuff and I have read through a lot of this thread but is there any bugs or glitches or advantages at all that the patches fix? The exploits don't really interest me anyways so the gold bar or horse tricks that get patched is fine. More wondering if they smooth out anything like weather transitions, broken quests, or make improvements on the intended game-play outside of having better performance for nerfed graphics.

Well, I did hear that on initial versions of the game, there was a chance that certain camp members wouldn't appear and could lock you out of item requests and in somewhat rare cases, actual missions. 

That's the only real big disadvantage I know about the initial version without patches. I think it's also a bit buggier in general?

Does anything think they dumbed it down because it was too much for the base consoles? Watching the Digital Foundry video after release and the game was kicking the One S in the ass the whole time. 

 

Also, I have two Xbox, an OG in the bedroom and a OneX in the living room. if I loaded RDR2 onto the OG console and moved the saves there with the cloud and then reinstalled RDR2 on the OneX while offline I could essentially keep my saves intact without issue, yeah? My worry is, do I need to keep the OneX offline all the time or can I go back online once it’s loaded? Probably not since it’ll look for updates I’m assuming. Sorry for the questions I just want to experience the game as it was on launch day

You will have to keep the console offline at whenever you try to play the game at least. You may also have to keep it offline in general, as I don't remember if Xbox One game updates download automatically in the background without you even launching the game.

It updating automatically or at least looking for updates and then preventing play until the update is done is my concern.

I believe you should be fine, as now that I think about it, I don't remember my Xbox ever downloading game updates before I tried launching a game. Though, I own an OG Xbox One, so I don't know if One X's are different. Just keep your system offline when playing the game.

Yesterday i noticed a strange glitch in 1.0. If Artur grows a beard, even on Level 1, somehow the beard goes over his underlip! I gonna post some screenshots later when i'm at home. 
It looks pretty stupid and annoys the hell out of me  I dunno if that bug was patched later on, but i never noticed it befor i downgraded the game.

Yep, this has also happend to me. Pretty sure it got patched.

Good to know  Well, then i have to decide whats worse. Patch the game and loosing the superior AO, or keep the AO but get stuck with Arthur looking like a fool the whole time  Damn you Rockstar!

This sucks so much! I didn’t have time to play this game, I only made it to chapter 3 and have now bought a brand new 4K TV and Xbox X to start from the beginning and play it in the best quality possible (I have an OCD about this), and now this!!! Is there simply no way to patch this to version 1,02 on Xbox X? How many other graphics/game breaking glitches are there in 1,00?

 

I bought the collectors box, ultimate PS4 version, ultimate Xbox version, and this is how I get treated!

I always knew things looked a little too washed out

 

jesus rockstar just fix it please, that is a huge difference and disappointment
