The P.E.G.I. info at the start was removed and a "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Remastered" splash screen was added. Find it here. And the results are actually very good. Resolution? Infinite (really)! I packed it into an SVG file (scalable vector graphics) so you can scale it up to any resolution without loosing quality! I'm probably gonna upload it tomorrow. If you have found a better source image like the one I will post, please send it so the poster can be improved. Also, I'm trying to extract the respective title_pc_US out of the mobile version of The Game. They are those black and white disclaimers that feature Rockstar's logo in the background. You should be able to have a professional print it for you and you'll have a brand new huge poster! It will take some time for me to complete it though. Also, don't expect crazy levels of detail. Have in mind that my source image had a resolution of 1187 x 1500 and it was in JPEG format (ew!). It was the best I could find. We can pretty much say that I turned into glitter. It's the original logo from the Xbox360 version already in HD. Probably better than anything I could possibly remake. Note that whatever the quality of the video is, The Game won't play it as eg VLC media player would. Outdated video playback components I suppose. This is what I use. Ha ha. The only mistakes I noticed are nonexistent full stops or commas instead of full stops. I don't feel like OCRing any of this, so, I think it will be fine enough. That intro is good but not as good as one would expect, assuming that the mobile version is relatively good. I mean, a tablet in the middle of the screen with some black borders (they were bored to properly capture footage that fits exactly into the tablet) and with the mobile controls visible? Seriously? My idea is to recreate the PS2 trailer at 1080p, 60 fps, without the advertisments of course. The problem is, that my laptop can't even play tetris at 1080p, 60 fps so I'll need some help with the recordings (unless you actually wanna wait ~5 years 'til I get a new one). Shouldn't be too difficult they are mostly cutscenes and stuff one can easily record. Is anybody interested? They both share the same container (.MPG). You can easily use this online tool to convert any format to MPEG-1. So you're planning actualy have a small square inside a, say, 1080p video? Doesn't look like a good idea. I'd replace both movies. Btw look at this jewel I found. It would make a perfect intro and it's very well made.
