hahaha last week my sister asked me if i still played that violent game, i told her im not as active as i used to, but i still play it.

i then showed her my stats and when she saw the playtime of 3400 hours her only reaction was "thats an obscene amount of time wasted" 🤣

It's only a waste if you don't enjoy it and look back fondly on said time. I do, though I've complaints and looking forward feel my time is over, I love this game considering the stumbling blocks R* and some players put up. I'm glad I played as much as I did, it'd be a waste to look back resentful, IMO. :)

Not playing Rockstar's game, not buying a single business.

That moment came for me when I took up car duping. It was a moment of clarity and excitement rolled into one.

my kd and the way i attained and maintained it. by that i mean im not a tryhard and i dont use fighter jets, flying bikes/cars, suicide, bulletproof helmets, sniper dancing etc. (one of the first things i did when i got the next gen version of the game is turn off movement while sniping lol)

i dont even really look for fights id say like 70-80% of my kills have been self defence.

im also proud of the fact i can carry the team if i have to in missions/heists although idk if thats much of an achievement i think most of the game is just easy but i do get platinum in most heists and setups i play.

Normally, I and many other people would scoff and guffaw at this kind of statement, but I agree with you. Maintaining my KD over at least a 1.01 level has been something that I've been happy about because I know I'm kicking rather than being kicked which is how I started life in GTAO.

Taking A LOT of amazing photos with the Snapmatic camera on Ps3 and PS4. Whether it was landscape, architecture, black and white, street, action, candid or selfies. For example, I've got a shot of an explosion ripping through the doors of the Ammunation store in Paleto Bay. There's a lot of nostalgia tied to them.

This also. I don't think my experience of this qualifies as pride, but recognizing that simple Snapmatics and R* Editor endeavors were as worthy of being considered 'True Art' as the greatest masterpiece was a bit of a turning point for me. The difficulty was getting past the fact that everything was created by a Games Developer and we were merely copying their work. (think on that for a second). Then it dawned on me, this whole planet and everything in it and outside it was created or developed by something. (Natural forces or supernatural don't matter) so everything we see and document can be considered the same way.

Idiots like this loveable chap:p. These are the things I'm most proud of in this game. Being part of a community that actually takes this nonsense seriously, makes it a part of our lives and it is a BIG part of our lives whether we are comfortable admitting that or not. Doesn't matter how good we are at it or how much we hate it at times, I just like the fact there are loads of people like me willing to spend hours of our time playing a silly video game and discussing it afterwards.:colgate:

My alien tattoo I guess. It's a physical marker of how much time I've wasted.

Fully agree with this myself. Finding this place, I've often said just how much it's enhanced my game. Be it finding out something like that Kifflom tattoo, or joining others on a challenge they long sought and the shared positivity when he (Rafae) showed his relief in a thread, to those days where I'm too busy to play but can still pop here for a giggle or ramble with others that just enjoyed GTA:O one way or another. Even the odd car crash of a thread. Good times!

-Completing the Criminal Mastermind Challenge;

-My rich and varied vehicle collections, all acquired by legit means and too much patience;

-Having finally reach the golden globe at level 750...I don't think I'll bother to make a push to 1000 as I'm already proud of this little achievement;

-Never having to use money glitches to buy things I wanted to;

-My character not looking like a mess in general, took some time to get the face of him right as I was basing it on my own face, but it was worth it;

-Being able to defend myself of most kinds of threats that comes after me...Specially jets, God it's soooooo satisfying to take out jets with my sniper rifle, it's my personal vengeance after enduring years of their BS back in last gen;

-Knowing all missions and heists like the back of my hand and holding my own on them, carrying the rest of the team if need be.

Fu*k you @Lonely-Martin. You totally pissed on my gravitas. Took me ten minutes to come up with that sh*t and you slither in there in less than four and totally dilute my efforts with your effortless Amber Nectar.LOL.

Materially, I'm most proud of my hangar and historically-painted planes; I love loading up and walking out of my bedroom just to stand on the walkway and admire my fleet. Let stand long enough and the camera always pans right to my invasion-striped Nokota - even my character knows that is THE plane. It's fun bringing friends over and hearing the "holy sh*ts".

Generally though, I'm most proud that I've been able to not only survive but thrive with some modicum of honor. I've never bought a shark card out of spite for R* and legit ground out all my humble 150mil. I don't kill anyone until they demonstrate clear aggression (or stand around afk for more than 1 mission) and grind them into the dirt only if they thwart my efforts to disengage.

Finally having the gumption to block a player called "FlamingSniper", who used to pester the absolute f*ck out of me to help him sell his cargo. I don't know how many times I had to tell that guy that I didn't like to team up with anybody (I only have my two sons, and my pal on my XBOX Live friends list), but he never gave up. I did like him, but he never got it that I don't ever play as a crew / team member in game. I used to turn the console off and tell him that I had to go because my tea was ready lol

The one time I did decide to help him, I ballsed something up quite by accident and he quit the session, so I thought bollocks to being nice to him from now on.

Blocked. Forever.

Peace at last.

(PS - If you ever see this FlamingSniper, I'm sorry, but it had to be done)

Grinding I/E and cargo long enough to buy a bunker and nightclub - upgrading both and no longer spending my playing time solely earning cash. So freeing being able to do whatever you want and still have money rolling in

Aside from the vehicle collection (which is always growing and changing and rearranging), it's a relatively recent event. With the nightclubs, I've finally had the ability and reason to dump a bunch of money on the biker businesses, and moved on from selling Sandking XLs for a living. Now I've got Client Jobs (which are so easy when you've got a flying car) and the Nightclub Warehouse, which just works. I'm still not the type that goes out and buys everything, or even wants most of what we get, of course, but money is king, and it's nice to not be watching the clock all the time in real-life to see if the 48 minute LSC cooldown is over, hah. The Nightclub represents three years of piecemeal work finally paying off in something I enjoy. Hoorah!

A lot of you have brought up Criminal Mastermind, and truly that was the most exhilarating time I have ever had in a video game.

It was with complete randoms I had met less than an hour before, and I stayed up past midnight on our run through it. Had to work only a couple hours later but it was worth it.

What a rush in those final moments getting to the boat.

Most proud of in this game was realizing R*s intentions through gameplay and the ins and outs of playing it knowing how things will usually happen or making money solo when a newer player will be wtf I'll be, oh R* you so funny ya got me ha ha ho ho.

Im proud of doing the OG cmm for heists twice on two different accounts. Earning 90 mil all legit, hitting milstones for all my busineses and finally compeleting my car collection. Once I get back into gaming i want to at least hit level 500 before the end of the year.

If I had to pick something, I guess it's being a pretty good driver (and all the while just using mouse/keyboard).

What I most enjoyed in SP were the nightly street races with Franklin, later in online I loved racing around doing Headhunter using the Kuruma.

Drifting around corners and banking off parked cars is still a blast.

When most people can't drive five feet without smashing into something, being a decent driver in this game is something to be proud of.

I'm proud of my K/D ratio.  It's 0.00.  Rank 386 and my K/D ratio is 0.00.  Never killed anyone.  Give me my Nobel Peace Prize.

Same, I can also fly pretty good.

I think I'm most proud of the fact that I'm a good all-rounder in co-op jobs. You can put me anywhere and I'll get the job done. Flying, driving, sniping, stealth, 'shock and awe' whatever.

I once grinded so much money that I had double digits millions in my bank. All legit. This was before Heists came out, and I ended up blowing the whole lot, but it was a fun update.

At the same time, I'm not proud of all that grinding as well. 😂

Proud that I played legit on PC for thousands of hours without spending a dime on stinky fish cards, actually just playing legit on PC is a massive accomplishment.

Yay me!

lots of great moments playing with mates in this game.

But best skilled moment would probably slapping a mate in the face with the wing of a titan:

I’m proud of most of my kustom car colors, especially the few that I’ve not ripped off others (massive Thank You to all the great color makers over in the Showroom and Requests threads, outstanding work).

Apart from that I’m most proud of countless of past achievements that I’ve regrettably failed to record and keep. I love that about this game, so much room for weird and amazing things to happen at any moment.

I’m also proud of mostly having been a friendly player, befriending strangers whom I’ve later had much fun and cooperation with.

Oh, and I’m also very proud of my helicopter piloting skills, and all my race wins.

(- and my Racing Blonde tattoo for setting a world record -)

mmh honestly most crispy game achievements don't make me feel proudy proudy. the nearest to feel somewhat proudy proudy is when i achieve a top lap time in a stunt race blunt face up there with them cracking racer cracks hihihi

also when i started my flippy crew we were 2 fluffy penguins. no we count over 200 fluffies!!! hihihi

I posted about this recently, but I'm proud that I've now given away over $4.5 million to other players. I love helping new players and grinders, since the other 99% of players grief them.
