Pounder primary weapons

I finally bought a Pounder since they are on sale to do larger nightclub sales and I thought I'd ask here before upgrading.

Which primary weapon is the best: Front mounted missile launcher or rooftop remote missiles? I assume rooftop, but you never know.

Same question with armor. Is the most expensive armor the best or not, like the Speedo armor with the wedge that messes up handling? Do you guys always get the top transmission, brakes and engine upgrade for all vehicles?

Rooftop remote missiles is the Missile Battery, right? If so, I'd avoid it. The truck becomes too tall & can't drive through some underpasses & tunnels.

 

I believe the most expensive armor acts the same way as the one in the Speedo, but I'm not 100% sure. I have the first armor on mine.

 

I upgrade the Nightclub trucks as the parts go on sale. If you make a lot of sales & use the Mule frequently, I'd install Engine upgrades & Turbo on it, that truck is gutless.

Roof missiles will f*ck you on deliveries if you follow the GPS route, and cannot shoot down worth a damn, so I'm on front-mounted.

I've never done a sale of more than 90 crates, are the 91+ crate deliveries the same as the speedo ones or different/more difficult?

Yes, I stuck with front mounted miniguns for the Pounder for reasons others have said about the rooftop missiles.

 

Also, don't bother buying the Mule.  As long as you have the Speedo and the Pounder, you can still do all sales no matter the quantity.

 

Also worthy to point out, enemy players cannot lock onto your delivery vehicles with homing missiles.  They'll have to use free aim missiles.

Front mounted missles and equipped mines are the most useful in my experience. 

 

Ill add that while it’s an unpopular opinion I don’t mind using the mule. It’s is gutless and clearly the pounder is a “better” truck.... 

The one thing I have found though is that the pounder gets stuck really easy because it is so big. I’ve never had that happen with the mule. So I dunno.

 

Friggin hate the speedo though. Just feels like too much work. 

 

Im probably using 85% Pounder and 15% Mule on deliveries I think. 

 

I usualy sell when the top 5 are done but by the time I get around to actually selling it I end up with enough goods to use the pounder.
