Algonquin Assassin
For me I can't remember what it was actually called, but it was on PS1 and it was a "black market " game that was literally just an FMV interactive porno where you could control their lets say "actions". The late 90s was a strange time for weird and obscure video games. My 12 year old self thought that was the greatest thing ever.. TheSantader25
Naughty Bear. A weird sh*tty game I once played at someone's place. It's about a bear who wasn't invited to a birthday party by other bears and then proceeds to kill em all for that reason. The game can be played by everyone but I find it more violent and uncomfortable in comparison to GTA. The enemy bears also sound squeaky which makes it even more uncomfortable. Speaking of which I downloaded Naughty Bear: Panic In Paradise a few years back on my 360, but only played it a couple of times. The idea of a murderous teddy bear is indeed weird lol. paulbrock
Despite having been an avid gamer for 30+ years I struggle to think of any really weird ones; I think the really daft ones ended up getting binned fairly quickly. Some that come to mind - Stanley Parable - for subverting expectations and breaking 4th wall. Rex Nebular - 90s scifi point and click adventure based largely around machines that swap peoples genders. jpm1

I can proudly say I played that game at release. There was also another one called Philly Flasher that I played (since I'm from Philly and all that). I would add a lot of 90's point and click adventures to this list too. Some of those may not have been edgy or controversial, but tons of them sure were weird. Death
I don't understand because I can't read Japanese but was fun to try to play in the old days and I like the characters design even the gameplay is awkward. Is this The Guy?
I forgot the name but it was a N64 game. It had a 4 player multiplayer and we would play as different stuffed animals and we would run around these maps murdering each other with various weapons. We used to sit around the tv and play for hours. Never played the campaign though, didn’t even know if it had a campaign.

ṼirulenⱦEqừinox
I had to buy a game on a new steam account so I could accept a gift from a friend so I purchased a game called Mr President as it was only $1.99 and it's so stupid but I spent hours playing it and laughing my ass off I was looking for the name of that game and I typed in Trump and this is what came up, There has never been so many games made about one single person than Trump If you want some real entertainment though just go read all of the Trump Supporter comments for the game Make America Great Again : The Trump Presidency all of the 1,400 + reviews are all from Trump Supporters and they're comments are just wonderfully funny Edited February 13, 2019 by AiraCobra
ṼirulenⱦEqừinox
Would stupidest game count as "weird" as well? Saw this as a Demo on Steam and it has a bunch of Trump supporters in the reviews raving about how awesome this game was and every other review simply said MAGA

LazlowsucksiloveslutS
Blues and Bullets was pretty strange. It wasn't a bad game, just different. Other weird game I played was Sherlock Holmes crimes and punishments. It felt like a cheap LA Noire. And now I recall playing a game called Outlaw Chopper. Imagine a comic book version of Lost and Damned. In my teens I used to play a lot of free online games. One of the games was how to properly use a public men's toilet. A toilet etiquette game, like where to stand, what urinal to choose. It was pretty funny but I learnt a lot from that game. Another funny online game was where dr dre and Eminem were f*cking in a motel room. Then 2pac came and said 'get down on your knees and pray'. then put a bullet in both of their heads. Algonquin Assassin
Has anyone ever played this? I was surfing the PS store yesterday and came across it. Tickled my fancy so I bought it without knowing a thing about it before hand. The best way I can describe it is if Minecraft had a baby with Friday The 13th lol. I think it would qualify as a turn based strategy game. I love the obvious parodies of Friday The 13th. Best $9 I've spent for a while.

-LN-
Without a doubt, this one: Yes, I'm old enough to have played the infamous "E.T." game for Atari 2600 as a child during the late 80s and there's definitely a reason why it's considered among the worst. 'Weird' is too kind and definitely an understatement; for me, it was the equivalent of a bad acid trip before I knew what a bad acid trip was actually like. Honourable mention may go to this one: "The Goonies II" wasn't that bad or unplayable like "E.T." from what I recall, but for some reason, I do remember some of the music scaring the f*ck out of me as a kid. On 2/10/2019 at 5:00 PM, ViceCityVin said: Sometimes I really miss those weird 90s point and click adventures, lol. I loved some of those games! Especially this one: Loved, loved "Maniac Mansion" as a kid and it had so many different endings compared to other NES games! Definitely 'weird' as well; one of the main characters was called 'Weird Ed' and you could actually steal and microwave his pet hamster. If you returned the microwaved hamster to him, well, the character you were using would be dead and buried in the front lawn for the rest of the game, lol! Also, this one: I thought "Shadowgate" was definitely more creepy than weird and its music also kinda scared me as a kid! Jamasen
Probably this one, it's pretty jank and glitchy. Interestingly, this game was the first to utilise the Chrome Engine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrome_Engine it's now used in Dying Light, Dead Island and Call of Juarez.
