Suggested no killable horses?

Every time i buy new horse it die and a get tenesy walker.

It not wort to buy new horses.Wath do you think that the horse should not die?

If you dont brush and feed your horse it will be weaker. Ive been playing around in this game since it came out in October and only had a horse die twice "both times my fault"

Are you aware the game includes a "Save Game" function

 

You have to do something pretty stupid to kill your horse. Like riding cross country and going off a cliff, or getting him too close to a moving train.

I've only had three horses die-twice in an ambush where they shot the horse first then me and I also died and once by running into a train.

 

If the horses were expendable then the final scene with Arthur and John running from the Pinkertons would have little meaning.

I have only had a horse die once, when I took a shortcut through a long rail tunnel and found the proverbial light at the end was indeed a train.

 

Otherwise I have had loads of accidents falling quite a long way, crashing into trees, rock, wagons etc all not fatal.  I always keep my horses fed, brushed and encouraged so don’t know if that helps.

Mine was on one of those long bridges-stupid train appeared out of nowhere on me.  {8-O
