Will GTA6 take place in the early 2020s or late 2010s?

With Newer technology like IPhone,With Foldable Phones coming up and self driving cars an newer computers and modern clothing  especially tablets and FaceTime  it safe to say it’ll take place in present day right before the start of the upcoming decade.

Modern day is becoming harder for criminals. Unless you're a hacker but hackers don't fit GTA.

I would count on it taking place whatever year it gets released in, which at this point will be in the 2020s.

I mentioned it in this thread, but should VI opt to stick with the present, it will have the year of release on it for marketing reasons, but the city layout, types of shops, fashion trends, radio stations and a large swathe of the day-one vehicle selection will represent the mid-2010s far more.
