Some models won't import into blender

I have been importing all of the models for the North Point Mall from Vice City to port to another game. The only problem is there are a few models that won't import for some reason. It has an error when I try to import the information booth, the struts on the ceiling, and one called malllights.dff which is the ceiling light reflections. They also won't import into zmodeler btw. Is there any way I can convert them to be able to import them?

Try The Hero's convdff to convert to a different RW version. It has some other cool tricks that you can view by running the tool with no arguments. If may fix your issues.

No luck with convdff. I think it has something to do with the lights, though because all of those models have lights. I found this with convdff:

I'm going to see if I can import the ps2 version. If not then I might end up just modeling them myself. I really wanted to use the actual models, though.

Those omnis should be unused dummies in the dff. You could try to remove some of those sections through RWAnalyze and try again. If not, well, a copy of 3ds max is nice to have around for situations like these, since with The Hero's plugins everything works like a charm.

Deleting the light with RW Analyzer did the trick. Thanks!
