Mr. Duk Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 If Rockstar makes another Undead Nightmare type of single player expansion pack, what would you like to see? Personally I would love to see a War of the Worlds type of alien invasion scenario. The turn of the century timeframe is ideal for that kind of story (paranoia, etc.), and the landscapes already in the game are perfect for an alien invasion. Just imagine giant tripods scouring the countryside and alien scouts in the swamps and a large scale alien attack in Saint Denis. It would also be a clever way to bring in some more advanced types of weapons and equipment (i.e. the player can find and use alien technology). And best of all — aliens have already been introduced in the game! I’d love to see an open world alien invasion game done right. I think RDR2 would be a great place to do it. HeyThereFriend Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 While that does sound awesome and it's something I've wanted myself from a Rockstar game for a while, I'd much prefer canon DLC's. A Sadie story post epilogue that takes place in South America. After that I'd like maybe a prequel where we play as a younger Dutch or perhaps Arthur and Hosea's job planning they were doing in Blackwater which could end when they have to pack up camp and run from Blackwater. We don't need to see the ferry job itself. Finally I'd like to see a remake of Red Dead Redemption as the final DLC. Fix the lore issues and use the new voice actors for Javier, Abigail and Uncle. As much as I see good ideas and want story content added, they want gold to sell like cash cards. Only way to get that happen is to incentivise it there. That depends on entirely whether RDO turns out to be dependable cash cow or not. If RDO flops, but R* wants to squeeze some cash out of us, then I guess we could get a DLC. Couldn't play more than 5 minutes of RDR Undead...sooo campy and dumb. How about throwing in a DLC dealing with old west lore and such like..Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid, Jessie James, Wild Bill...OK Corral, Deadwood ect. RDR and RDR2 had hardly touch on this stuff.
