Is it true that if you replay any story mission in Red Dead Online, you won't get any cash?

You can easily get 1 dollar or less for completing a story mission.

 

Been on one before some guy on the hat one when going to turn guy in at end hit rock on his horse went down and died it was our last death him responsible for all 3. Failed mission restarted checkpoint after turn in didnt even get full buck.

becauce the mission timer resets, and the mission lenght is counted as maybe 1-2 minutes

Speaking of Story Missions, is there any bonus to getting Gold Ranking instead of Silver or Bronze?

Question for anybody who completed the story missions for the first time AFTER the the first payout adjustment:  How much did you get paid for completing the last mission?  I completed them all prior to the payout adjustments and the final mission paid me $250 for the first time completing it..

~20$ it was I think. But that‘s when you rush it and play for gold.

when you take your time you can easily make 60$.

Right.  I meant completing for the first time after they did the first economy adjustment.  Like, if I just started playing today on a fresh account, what would it pay?

If you enter the mission with a wanted level, the 'wanted timer' will continue despite not being wanted within the mission. At least it does if you're dragged in by a posse leader.

This means that on top of your hunting profits and top payout, you're working towards another award. I had 500 XP last night during a mission for a "so long with a wanted level" type award.
