 Welcome to the Arena War Vehicles Elimination Game

 

 

The object of this is to pick a winner from the different Arena War Vehicles (used in the Arena) in GTA Online

 

 

The Rules:

● You add one point (+1) to your favorite vehicle and subtract two points (-2) which you can split (-1) (-1) for your least favorite(s).

● It isn't allowed to add and subtract from the same vehicle  in one vote.

● You're only responsible for changing the score to reflect your vote, not the person before you.

● You can vote once per day (every 24 hours). You can do it after 21 hours minimum, but if it becomes a habit it will not be allowed.

● When we are down to the last three, you need to vote after 24 hours. Voting earlier than 24 hours is no longer an option at this point.

● Copy and paste the list from the last person before you. This helps out everyone to see what the scores are and we can prevent disinformation from spreading through the game.

● Do not use multiple accounts, this is not allowed and action will be taken if you are found to be doing this.

● Only vote in these games if you have been a forum member for two weeks at least. If the person above you hasn't been a member for at least two weeks, then you should ignore their vote.

● If the person before you votes wrong (not forgetting to write the correct scores, but doesn't vote as the first rule implies), you shall ignore that vote.

● If you are new to this game do as the regulars do. If you disagree; they are right, and you are wrong. Accept that or leave this thread.

● Please show what you voted for in your post, as a example:

To be fair, I find positives in all vehicles here, just a bit of fun. But I'm a car/truck fan over bikes, plus the Deathbike is a bit overpowered in some modes, even using a stock one I can hold out for top 3's quite often. 

 

I do love the muscle cars very much though, but that Sasquatch is just so much fun. My favourite of these.

(-2) for the Bruiser because it's simply terrible.

 

(+1) for the Imperator due to being a pretty nice muscle car as well as being able to be customized to appear completely stock.

Bruiser because it runs coal, looks idiotic enough for me to actually laugh at it, does the thing that ramp buggy should have done and does it better and it's a lifted W100 (if I'm correct). This is the only vehicle that I haven't sold from this DLC and I have fun driving it in freeroam.

 

Cerberus because it's simply a piece of sh*t. I know it can be useful in Arena mode, but that's it. Flamethrowers are criminally underpowered and that alone is enough for me. 

 

I don't share the common reasons to hate the deathbike, because I will never play the Arena mode after I've tried it and nearly died from the feeling I'm playing the game from 2003 with the ancient graphics and no deformation model whatsoever. However, the bike indeed looks stupid and breaks the interaction menu in MC when it's listed as <>.

There's lots of good stuff to be honest... it's hard to choose so the vote may change every 24 hours.  

 

The Bruiser is faster than people think if you keep it in first gear especially with nitrous - can be a bit of an effort to do that though (driving with 85% throttle or so). Oh and the doughnut or burger on the bag is hilarious. 
The Brutus is ace because I'm a fan of Tango & Cash, although it is one of the slightly lesser armoured of the bunch (don't worry, you won't notice that). The ram is good though. 

The Cerberus is one of those "hell yeah" vehicles, sadly let down by lack of traction and a terribly poor flamethrower which doesn't have enough range at all and seems to alert the cops way too quickly. Weak ram too. 
The Deathbike is a beast. I can see why it's hated though. 

The Dominator is another movie gem for me, being in Death Race. You can really "feel" the bouncy suspension in this one though from those advanced flags. 
The Impaler and Imperator are 'meh' cars to me - I have a non-Arena War Impaler and I have to give some credit there. 
The Issi is another one that caught me off guard. Really quick, MDSB's pretty well too, and has the same armour level as the other AW vehicles despite being a cute little one. 

The Sasquatch is amazingly fast, particularly off the line and has some good armour and protective properties too it. 
Scarab is a 'meh' tank for me. I'm glad it has decent armour and speed but its gun is piss poor, they should've given it something like the Oppressor Mk.2 Explosive MG or more of the same guns, lower down. Pity really. 

Slamvan is a letdown - it's armour is definitely weaker than all the other AW vehicles. I'm not sure if it's a bug or an oversight, and I have been using the Heavy Armour Plating in the tests. Looks cool though, I suppose, but there's not really much good I can say. 

ZR380 is another quick toy to play around with - one that Rockstar missed the boat with, with not having an armour-less variant. Combine nitrous with a bump or two and you can expect to surpass 170mph though, even if briefly.

Awesome, this should be a very close and informative elimination game. Even though I'm not a big fan of AW, the thing that Rockstar does well is create stupendous vehicles, and I'm able to find a slot for every one of these in my collection. But what on earth to downvote, even at this stage?

 

The Slamvan doesn't really cut it in the arena, but the exposed rear engine looks gigantically fantastic especially the Future Shock version, whereas the Apocalypse version looks a bit ordinary.

And the Bruiser suffers badly from the neon tiles in its Future Shock version, which can't always be removed, and it was the first vehicle I sold and bought back as Apocalypse (still had to have it!).

For you cowboys out there who would like to take part, it can be found here: 

 

I am posting this simply because I feel like there aren't enough people participating. Many people over here are people I don't seem to see in the RDR elimination games. Hopefully this post will increase the amount of active players and bring awareness, because I like seeing our little community come together to play these games. These games are fun, and I like seeing us come together to play them. If you haven't participated in the RDR elimination games yet, it would make me happy and surely Amy and many others happy as well. 

Hope to see some more of you guys there!

The reason I'm not playing Amy's RDR2 elimination games is because I decided to pack up my wild west bags and go back to GTA online about two-three weeks ago. I haven't played since.

 

There are multiple reasons for this: I don't have enough time to extensively roleplay in both of Rockstar's open world games, and the appeal of the wild west circa 1899 doesn't do it for me in the same way that modern day Los Angeles does. And also because I got really bored of the game by the time I reached level 40. All I was doing was logging in and hunting in the Bayou in an attempt to preempt the release of future DLC by having enough cash and XP, until I realised that I wasn't enjoying it. Additionally, hardly anybody on my friends list plays RDR2, except one or two people who are still experiencing single player, and the occasional die-hard fan. Most people play or do other things now, but  there are still quite a lot of people playing GTA online.

Snap. Damn near anything RDR related right now just frustrates me at how bad that game is for me. Maybe in 'months' I might find a positive thing to say, lol. Stupid R*. Until then, I'm just full of B&M talk for that game. Even put me off of story mode for the time being.

 

Plus, I forgot what missions are what, lol. So best I don't try and look that daft, do enough of that here.
