Where the hell is the soundtrack

No, seriously, when do you think Rockstar is finally gonna release the soundtrack? The game has been out for 3 freaking months

Wondering this too, I keep seeing them tease info on it on Twitter every now and then but that's it.

My spotify is lacking RDR music. Right now I only have Far Away and His Name Was King. Nothing from RDR2 tho.

"Soon" for Rockstar could range anywhere from a few weeks to 6 months.

D'Angelo released "Unshaken" a while ago. It's available on Spotify and TIDAL. It's not the in-game version of the song but it actually sounds a bit better (I think?); it has a bit more dynamic range but less guitars.

I think the in-game version of "Unshaken" is better with the guitar intros etc.

The artist doesn't seem to have any other songs that sound like this. It's not really a good example of his work. Mostly seems to do that R&B booty music I'm not fond of

The soundtrack is currently where the RDRII concept art book is.

The release version is a bit more clear in the vocals. You can really hear the reverb, especially on headphones.

Apparently he's the one who reached out to Rockstar to work on the soundtrack. His voice is really good on the song though.

I think it's amazing that he can do a completely different genre than what he usually does and still make an incredible song that's definitely going to be remembered in gaming.

I am waiting for this sound track too! By far one of the best original soundtracks for a game I've ever heard.

As for Unshaken, I prefer the RD mix instead of the final mastered version.

Somebody on youtube had put one together...They have gotten several clicks from me lol.  I forgot I had it on one day, I was with a friend in free roam.  All of the sudden, this battle music started.  I was like: "Dude, did you just start a mission?  What the hell is going on?"  I'm checking the map to see what was around and there was nothing!  Then I realized it was my background music....  Oh my stupidity!

I'm still waiting for someone to rip the ambient score from the game files , after all the time I spent in this game I keep finding music that I haven't heard before especially in RDR Online, I think there's more emphasis on the music when roaming the world in RDR Online than the Story Mode !

All I wanna do is listen to that intro violin score throughout the game. It really sets the erie mature vibe to the game

Where is literally any content outside of RDOnline?

The Soundtrack, the Concept Art book... etc. etc.

What is happening at Rockstar? Are they running around with their heads on fire (again) like what happened right after GTAO launched?

Probably just being their classy cocky selves thinking every gamer will go like "Oh sh*t dude! New crap from Rockstar Games? WICKED!".

Same thing with every one of their releases. Barely any info is dropped until the last month or two because "we'll buy it anyway".

They know people will buy it anyways. OR they could quietly cancel it and presume nobody would notice since no ads or further info has been released.

Fans will always buy it.  The casual gamers will have moved on, so they're losing market penetration longevity.

Yeah I have no clue what's taking so long. They seem to be dragging their feet with all kinds of sh*t pertaining to RDR2. Not to be a downer, but that's what it feels like.

Maybe it's all about artist rights and who gets what $$ for the release.
