Is Bill Williamson gay? I think its very clear he is

Never really noticed until my second time around. And before someone says "WHO CARES IF HE IS< ITS NOT WRONG!!!" its just a discussion so chill.

 

Here is what I have noticed. 1.There is a letter and reason he was kicked out of the army was for deviancy.

 

2. In a bar fight mission arthur makes a joke that gets bill mad saying something like "so bill were you trying to punch him or kiss him?"

3. in the fishing mission with hosea and others bill talks about couples with names that sound the same like lenny and jenny, martha arthur, then bill and phil matching him with another male

4. charles and john have a conversation and charles complains that bill has a crush and is attracted to kieran

5. bill is trying to bully kieran into sipping out of the same bottle as bills and if you walk up to them bill freaks out and gets pissed saying to leave them alone saying something like "cant 2 men just have a drink together?"  and then kieran walks away and bill is begging him to come back

6. If you choose to play as asshole arthur the whole game while in st denis if you antagonize jack when he is upstairs by his room with john and abigale by and get arthur to say "jack you look more like an escuela or a williamson". john will go "Ha like bill would drift in that direction"

 

His real name is actually Marion, could easily see him wanting to go by bill to seem more masculine

 

Also a random thing at Shady Belle where he asks Arthur to get him some hair pomade, Arthur hands it to him when you obtain it and then tells Bill that he won't speak about this again. he asked to keep it secret

 

He also seemed pretty excited to me the one to get to take off kierans pants to geld him

 

Another thing I remembered was right at the start of the game when Micah was mad about sharing a room with others he seemed most upset to be near bill, even more so then the people of color

 

But the MAIN giver to be by far if Bill knows the gay rapist. There is a side quest where a gay man will drug you and sodomizes arthur when he falls asleep. And if that happens to you bill will make a comment to arthur saying some sh*t like "so my friend in the swaps had fun with you? or "ran into you" something like that. There is no way Bill would know who that guy is, let alone talked to him recently without a gay relationship

 

Not sure if I missed any, or if this was ever discussed at all just curious if anyone has ran into any other instances

Honestly I think so, Sadie even makes a remark hinting that he's gay something that he loves Kieran I forget what she specifically says.

It's possible. Just a few corrections: Hosea is the one who says Bill and Phil when talking about couples who's names rhyme won't work out. And the man in the swamps doesn't drug you, he whacks you over the head. But Bill had Abigail service him when she was the gang's prostitute so I don't know.

And ah thanks I couildnt remember if he beats you over the head or drugs you. I got confused because of that other incest couple of that fatass guy and his sister who end up drugging your drink and having fun with ya

Funnily enough, a lot of characters say that, but he actually helps Arthur out more than any other character (aside from Dutch).

 

I got that vibe too, after I read the letter (noticing his discharge reason being "deviancy," as others have said) and heard him telling the campfire story. Especially when he's insistent on it being "a woman" that robbed him.

Sexuality aside, I have been in the Army myself and Bill's behavior is not that of a homosexual, but of a man who is basically just lost in life and doesn't care about how he comes across. Other people formulate some idea and try to pass it off on him...the jokes and games does not make him gay... Gay = something wrong with your f*cking brain

 

And on the flipside...it could be a choice he decided to make... It's always confused me how gay folks say it's not a choice...But that's all our lives our...a series of choices. Or just being a victim to sh*t..
