How long till the second island open

I'm waiting till vc come out on pc but i was wondering how many missions u got to do to open the second island ( gta3 the one where u get on that boat with maria and that yakusa lady, one time i was doing that and decided to get the package at the same time ( the one on that little rock island thing ) and i was going a little to fast and the lady got flung out of the boat and stuck on the rocks, hoping that it doesnt matter if she is on board or not i went to the marker and it said nothing so i go back to kill her ( bad idea ) when i start to shoot her she pulls out a usi and starts killing me pretty fast then maria punches me ( like in that mission where u take maria to that party ) she has super strength and sends me flying then i got shoot to death how crapy ) yer so apart from that little story ( not fake did happen ) what mission do u do to unlock the islands

I am not sure probably like 15 or 20. You have to do a lawyers asset, colonels asset, diaz asset ( some of it) some of Averys missions. So yeah probably 20 or so.

The 2nd maion island, open up after completing the mission "Phom Pehn '86" for Diaz. You'll hear a broadcasting on the radio telleing that the storm waring is canceled, and all bridges open up again.

well there are a few missions but sum u dont need to do to get the next island eg avery.

dont worry the missions ent hard at all.

u will b sailig ut boat round the city in no time.
