Nice, a new role coming in! I'm gonna have to upgrade my Trader level tho, I'm still level 3 or 4 right now haha, but it's soooo long to level it up.

 

So no Robber, Photographer, Cattleman, Fisherman, but still, Moonshiner can be fun. Some people in a wishing thread guessed that right. ^^

The poster of the dlc says it all. A wagon presumably full of moonshine and presumably chased by enemies. The requirement to start this is to have reached level 5 as trader, so it's clear that this is trader 2.0. Let's hope it's also as profitable.

 

Now I see a law enforcement dlc tied to the bounty hunter role in the future.

And so... property ownership begins. I'm having GTA:O flashbacks.

 

It'll probably cost another 15 gold, with a very high fee to keep your business afloat. I assume it'll be rewarding though... But I'll pass for now. I'm still farming money and I have to level up my perk cards too.

So we get a wagon full of explosive liquid in a game with a bunch of crazy people with dynamite... Sounds fun.

Could be good fun to interact with, hopefully we can add a table game or 2 in the bar also.

 

Also hoping it's more like the club than the trader with less resupplying etc. But we'll see.

 

Needs good fixes though.

I saw them mention briefly Outlaw pass no 2, but nothing about PC getting pass no 1.

Erm, okay...

 

Moonshine, think we all saw that coming at some point, great. A new role and it fits. New Story Missions too, again, great, zero complaints.

 

But.

 

Why the f*ck does it have to be a GTAO style underground (f*cking literally) business. This has being the b*stard child of Gunrunning and After Hours written all over it.

 

Sounds cool having your own underground Speakeasy, right? Until different Country bands are dripfed, or until customizable interior means choosing one of three presets, or even more resupply missions on slow as f*ck carts and who can forget promotion missions to keep your popularity up, I can't f*cking wait to go around putting up promo posters on horseback.

 

I really, really hope this isn't the only property we get to buy a week on Friday, I just want a property that's not tied to a business.

That would be a plus, if we can have an indoor, set spawn point, I have to admit. 

 

Hopefully the locations are varied, because I want to be as far away from everyone else as possible.

I'll be extremely surprised if R*s nickel and dime MO doesn't see us having to spring for specific moonshine wagons.

Not 5 months ago there was an interview with Imran Sarwar where he said and I quote: “we don’t want to jump the shark by offering properties just yet, we want players to continue to enjoy the nomadic outlaw lifestyle for a while first” and yet here we are, with a moonshine shack. Why do we even need a speakeasy? It’s not the prohibition days, literally anyone in 1898 could open a saloon in the old west. There were no laws against it. 

 

At least we’re getting a new gun. A ‘Navy Revolver’, either a Colt 1851 or 1861. Hopefully the latter, it has nicer lines. Still refuse to give me back my bloody Sharps rifle, though. I want it, I need it, I breathe it.

I'd actually quite like a little shack up at Colter away from the sh*t shows at Valentine, Blackwater & Saint Denis. Nice warm little speakeasy buried below the snow. Might run the business, might not, I'll be happy to have a little home lol

It'll be upgrades of some sort.

The current wagons have the poorest stats, so expect to fork out for bigger & better, or for literal modification upgrades.

I read that but the gist I got was referring more to a residential type property.

My thoughts are along the same lines, it's unnecessary.

 

Let us buy a shack or cabin, customize the interior and use it as a spawn point. Have the Moonshine business expand camp, or be a separate shack, idgaf. 

 

The straight from the GTAO playbook underground bar just isn't needed, at all.
