No. Animal spawns seem to dependent on the number of players in the lobby: fewer players = better spawns. Above 20ish players, animal spawns almost dry up entirely. I’d imagine you were just in a lobby with a low player count.

That was a joke.  My lobby was full, but it has reverted to trash when I took my dog for a walk. 

 

The spawning in that lobby was so good, I completed every spawn related daily in 20 mins.  When I saw them this morning, I said well I am never going to be able to get a panther.  WIll have to find a new session for an hour.  I am not doing that.

I had to use the temporary solo lobby glitch to find a Panther, as well as the fourth and final Deer to complete both those daily challenges.

Fair enough. But in 1898, several of the ‘states’ the game takes place in weren’t states yet. Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and I think Colorado were all territories rather than states, and therefore fell under the jurisdiction of the federal government rather than their own government. At least, that’s how ‘state/territory’ worked here, so I can presume it was the same in the US. And the US didn’t regulate alcohol on a federal level until Prohibition.

Indeed, but in any event prohibition certainly exists in the game.  Strawberry for instance is a ‘dry town’.

While the game takes place before Prohibition, it does take place during the Temperance Movement, which was a successful campaign by Christian women to declare alcohol "unclean" and a "sin." Because of this campaign anti-alcohol education was taught in schools and many states and territories began to adopt prohibition laws. In our case, operating a speakeasy wouldn't have been unheard of at the time.

It presumably had some kind of speakeasy in single player too, since Lenny mentions that Micah got arrested after getting into a fight when they were both getting a drink in strawberry.

How many gb's (gigabytes) was the Frontier Pursuits update?

I'd expect this (Moonshine update) to be about the same size, perhaps slightly bigger given interiors etc.

For "essentials", if you didn't link accounts or collect cards in GTAO etc. it was 35gb for the Outlaw Pass and 15gb for each role, so 80gb 8n total, but, 35gb was recouped over the course of completing the Outlaw Pass, so a 45gb spend before cosmetics etc.

 

I expect Outlaw Pass Mk II to be more expensive than the last, but I do think the upfront cost will again be recouped through completing it. 

 

It will be interesting to see whether the Moonshiner role will have a gold only buy in and whether we'll see an increase from 15gb, personally I expect we will.

Obviously a fake leak going by the edit but the idea of your player owned house being part of the camp system isn't a straight up terrible idea. I say that knowing they'd have to make sure every camp spot worked and some of them are cramped as f*ck so it wouldn't be simple, but it would be pretty neat. It also, ya'know, wouldn't make an awful lot of sense immersion wise but it's a possible solution to having everyone in the lobby own the same house.

I think so, the current event ends tomorrow, but they might just extend it.

That, or a new event with the update dropping in the middle, so it won't be a very good event.

I wouldn't expect amazing bonuses or discounts tomorrow.
