I guess it was hoping for too much for an apology or any kind of acknowledgement of why the servers were down for half a day yesterday. Oh well, at least I can buy some new clothes at some point today, that will help keep me engaged with the game for at least 10 minutes. WOOHOOOO!!!

They might mention it in the Newswire later, I doubt it though.

 

R* rarely acknowledge such things and I think the R* Support tweets yesterday are probably the only acknowledgement we'll get.

Haha Yeah I've slowed down for sure. Like I said in another thread back then, everything maxed and 22k savings...wtf else am I supposed to do? I hope we get the new revolver but that is likely just wishful thinking.

It didn't even enter my mind we might get an update lol. I guess the current GTA dripfeed has conditioned me to waiting months and months.

 

I think there's probably less than a 1% chance of getting an update. LeMat in an hour or two would be nice though. Hopefully with working shotgun barrel.

I meant the next spring update in May/June, not the soon to be updated event week in a couple hours lol. You really think R* would just drop the update without another announcement closer to its release?

Not seeing the offer on ammo anymore. Also my ammo counter is glitched out and saying I'm carrying a thousand bullets for each gun.

Check the saddles I think they're on sale. Ammo counter glitched too (or changed? ) now shows

Rifle and pistols: up to 1099 regular rounds, 1009 explosive, 1049 split point.

Arrows: up to 1039 regular, 1007 the rest

1059 regular and slug, 1013 incendiary slug

repeaters: regular 1299, explosive 20, split point 200

super glitchy. wtf?

For me only showing the amount I got, not the max, I see 425/1099 on pistol for example. The thing that worries me is I'm seeing 10/1009 on explosive on rifles and pistols.

I just tried to craft more, it says I'm carrying the maximum amount 10 explosive express, 10 explosive slugs, 14 incendiary buckshot. Maybe there is a way to by pass it, but I can't craft anymore special ammo

I'm seeing a ton of explosive ammo - but then when I switch to it, it goes back to the normal amount. Can't craft more than the 10 explosive revolver rounds I currently have either.

 

Same with other ammo types.

 

Standard ammo is the only for me that still shows as having an abnormal amount of ammo even when equipped. I kind of don't want to use it up to see if it actually is though.

 

Could it be to do with me stocking up on ammo when it was on offer? Maybe that broke it somehow?

I bought around 200 and 300 extra bullets of each type, and I think is showing the total you have.

I killed two turkeys with arrows - it didn't let me pick the arrows back up again afterwards like it usually does. So I think the ammo thing is more for show, some weird glitch. Might be a good idea to not use ammo before it's fixed, who knows if we might lose stuff somehow.

 

Still seeing a dollar sign on the showdowns and races etc.

 

Maybe that's all this week is? Money opportunity isn't bad. I don't really want to use the ammo until I know if it'll mess things up for me somehow or not though.

Not using ammo, how do you think to play the game? 90% involves shooting. I used ammo after I noticed the glitch.

I'm probably just gonna turn it off for a while until I hear more. Maybe they say something about it, or maybe people come out saying they've lost stuff.

just went to a stable, saddles and horse tonics on sale

about the ammo, the glitch is mostly on the type that you purchase, or I'll be able to craft more split point, explosive, incendiary... Anyways I used it already, and was waiting to see what the new sales/offers.

That infinite tonics thing in showdowns is ridiculous, but they have to break things that were perfectly working almost every week so it's not surprising.
