Nope, even Take Two said the update will include robberies from hold ups (homesteads and camps) to larger high stakes robberies (train robberies)

How about your answer the question then and post a link to where they announce it?

They mentioned "quick hold ups" and  "high stakes robberies" when they first announced the update. One of these "high stake robberies" will probably involve a mission with something to do with a train. Also it's Rockstar. They love trains. Then there's the picture that they used to tease the update which *gasp* has a train in it.

 

Is it really worth trolling each other for a pointless bit of information for a mission that's probably going to suck ass anyway?

You know what makes me laugh? Rockstar did not even give us the full details about the update and some people (like you) start complaining, I bet you are one of those who will keep saying dead game without even trying the update ? people were asking for robberies since the launch of Red Dead Online

And lets be honest, I do not want anyone to say " Rockstar disappointed us with the last 2 major updates because you do not have to like all the updates, even GTA Online had a lot of bad updates

Passenger train, it looks like Rockstar will drip feed Guido missions, and this train robbery is one of his missions

Hasn't this thread not always been B&M part 2 xD.

For these homestead robberies, I am worried that it is basically going to be a free roam event like the Gang hideouts and Moonshine stuff which means that there aren't something that you can start on demand. You have to travel around and hope one spawns in which can be annoying.

More of the same ?? This is literally an outlaw content everybody asked for since the launch. You can’t do anything in the game at the moment that was so far mentioned on the newswire.

Other than a npc giving you the mission as the strangers, I hope it takes part in free roam and not in a boring stanced with loading screen like the telegram ones, since it can be done while on defensive Im cool if any players wanna get in the way.

Looks like the train from, the Kerosene, Tar, and Greed mission. The terrain looks identical, to that mission.

Notice they included the horse races among the "massive" updates. I don't know about anyone else, but if they consider that part of the "massive" I'm not particularly optimistic. Their definiton of that has been pretty ridiculous in the past.

 

Their word "missions" makes it pretty obvious what it will entail. Just more stranger missions or whatever. Same formula as ever.

The same as in stranger missions. We actually already have outlaw stranger missions with The Boy, Stuttering Tom (or whatever his name is), Slim and Triple D (Tammy and her brother), mama Watson and a few others. So yeah, more of the same.

 

Wouldn't it be nice if we could cause havoc without having to go through some formulaic procedure or something spawning to allow us to do it? Like we could just be out wandering around and decide to rob a store, bank, or whatever.......like real life, without getting "permission" from the game programming or assigned a job from some NPC? Let us be like Arthur in our freedom to do what we want.
