hope people dont get mad in september when r* just drop some new stranger mission. when they literally announce some new missions and never mention a role

I wonder if it really is a Role will they have us buy property in Saint-Denis? Perhaps a store as a front for our criminal dealings? Could this be where we move Cripps? Could we buy a warehouse? Just buy an apartment so he can "keep us close"?

well at least we finally got some info. was that so hard rockstar? im not super hyped. but im probably more excited than a lot of the comments i have seen so far. horse races might not be my favorite. but i still look forward to checking them out. and maybe have some fun while im at it. as for the rest of the stuff mentioned. it seems interesting. especially with adding guido martelli. but im wondering if we will actually get to meet him and he will have dialogue. or will it just be a telegram and tell us what to do from there. like those martin madrazo missions or simeon missions in gta online that just gives you a text. with no story.

 

i also hope we get that buffalo rifle that they teased a while back. and maybe even some more weapons and fun new stuff. also since it is a fan requested item. they should let us buy boats. but maybe they are saving that for a water themed dlc. either way. i have an optimistic feeling with this.

absolutely, just depends on how they implement and balance it. 
Same for a prospector that targets gold / silver / copper / etc.

I decided to reinstall the game yesterday to play through the story (and hopefully finish it this time). I wonder if this summer update will be interesting enough to bring me back to Online. Only time will tell, as the Asia song goes. And if not, well, Garrus Vakarian beckons to me.

I expect something similar to GTAO's MC club contracts and Terrorbyte missions. Quick freeroam jobs you launch to rob X or escort Y or blow up Z. With maybe a property equivalent to the clubhouse to launch them from, if we're lucky.

This might be the first OP that I don't complete, idk yet I might power through it in these last couple of weeks but the motivation isn't there. If the ammo upgrade wasn't only for regular ammo I'd be more motivated but it's just meh at this point.

I know a decent segment of players have wanted a more straight-up outlaw/'dishonourable' role for a while (illegal moonshine business being the nearest so far), but working for the Saint Denis mob miiight not scratch that itch for everyone - not for folks who want specifically 'black-hat outlaw' stuff, and not just more broadly 'criminal'. We'll see, I guess...

 

Probably not going to go for it, personally, but it does sound interesting - my disinterest being more 'I play as a good guy in RDO', not 'this sounds like a rubbish update'. Wonder if they're going to add more cosmetic items this time around, too - Naturalist was a larger update than Bounty Hunter, and I'm assuming that it's going to be a similar situation this year, with a larger RDO update in Summer and a smaller one in December, and vice versa for GTAO (smaller 'filler update in Summer, giant end-of-year blowout in December). Here's hoping for some neat new toys, at any rate.

I am genuinely curious if the next update is Outlaw based what happens with the trader wagon styles that were never released but clearly in the game. Is the next update gonna include a trader expansion as well. Will we get a smaller trader expansion update a few months after this one or does this mean the December update will be trader expansion? Interesting in my opinion. I would be happy if June 1st we get an outlaw update, in August or Sept we get trader expansion to go along with the new OP or the Halloween pass and in December we get another big update. I know I'm just dreaming because that's never gonna happen lol.

rdr2 is a masterpiece, they have a strong base to create an insane online mode, but i guess most people are still interested in los santos $$$

Level 93 and I genuinely cannot tell if this game is incredibly deep or incredibly shallow.

I never thought I'd buy more than 3 horses max when I started RDO but now my stalls are almost full. If you're a believer that each horse is different (maybe marginal) and serves a different purpose in the game as I am then it can entice you to buy more. Plus rockstar has given many discounts for horses so that helped. I actually do change my horse quite a bit depending on how I'm playing. Just me though, I fully understand people who are good with 1 or 2 horses max. It's also become pointless to discard your horses since you don't get anything in return so I'd rather buy new ones especially since money is not an issue for many by now.

i am western fanboy, plus both reasons you pointed out, my horses usually fit my outfits and weapons, and i am a horse sucker since childhood that doesnt have the money nor the land in real life to own 10+ horses of elite breeds imported from everywhere. So yeah, online is basically an action rpg for me in all the sense of the word.
