0 hype within the future activities, 0 hype about qol improvements... i have never plead and yearned for a pussy as i have done for new stalls in this sh*tty game!!!

Take note, they mention that people who play the GTA "Summer" Update will have bonuses when they transfer over to the E&E version. I seriously doubt there will be a large gap between people playing and getting their bonuses. My point being that this just lends more credence to the idea that the Updates (GTAO and RDO) will drop in September and the E&E version will drop the month after.

Yes!! Blackwater as well and Annesburg has those worker houses so I imagine one of them could be used as a player property.

they can keep up with playing the game and/or purchasing gold bars. GTAO is full things to buy and new player can either grind for it or purchase shark cards. If the prices for stuff (cosmetics, roles, properties etc) in rdo will go up that means players can meaningfully grind for it or purchase gb.

This is not GTA either in revenue or player base, never has been and never will be.

I said obvious, because the Heists update would arrive at some point in the future. For all we know, it could be in development this whole time. This type of content would draw in more players than usual. It could also be seen as a possible turning point for RDO. If you had more than one high quality update in mind, you would probably line them up behind the update that would bring back the most players.

 

I don't know what's taking them so long to come up with high quality updates, but I presume they held into GTA last year to offset the decline in their revenue.

If I'm not mistaken, they don't need to update the game to add new races, so the update itself is not gonna drop next week. Hopefully the speculations around june 2nd are right and the summer update drops 2 weeks from now.

Also, by the vague way they describe the update, it could be just some telegram missions involving robbery, or it could be the infamous fan requested Outlaw role.

We'll have to wait and see, Keep expectation low folks, and R* may suprise us this time...

They've consistently overhyped announcements. 
This announcement about the summer update doesn't really get me excited. 
It's not "massive" or "big", so I don't expect it to be a lot of content.

We'll get a "diverse array of new missions" - who knows what that means. I sure doesn't sound like the game changer this game needs.
If they had produced big Heists, and know it's good stuff that players will absolutely love, don't you think they'd announce and hype the hell out of it? 

It being a "summer update" can mean we have to wait until the end of September. The new races they've announced won't bridge the gap for me.

Because people here like moaning even without any info confirming their beliefs. Instead of waiting for more info if we're going to get something bigger they have to complain about eveything what Rockstar does. Guys, I know that you're angry with R* because they didn't give us any signs to believe them and their ideas but please, wait before final judgements.

hello i am a noob why would you want more stalls? From a gameplay pov I mean. I guess you could be into horses or having the right colour for your suit or whatever but as far as I can tell you buy a foxtrotter and call it a day? 

 

Level 93 and I genuinely cannot tell if this game is incredibly deep or incredibly shallow.

I'm not hyped until I have the update in my hands. I don't trust Rockstar with how they use their wording anymore. Most updates have undelivered, so... Just going to wait until I install it.

I could see them doing outlaws in the summer (like they said in the newswire) and heists in December like a part 1 and 2 kind of thing. I also think the thing that's held them up is the next gen version of gtav. They probably gutted their online teams to make that, I doubt they touched their single player team which is obviously busy with gta6. Because let's be honest since the casino heist in Dec 2019 they only released one real GTA online update with the Cayo perico heist and most people found that to be lackluster anyway. Maybe after gtav next gen is done they can refocus their teams into online.

That's where I'm at.

 

It seems a bit light initially on content with these races, but the summer stuff I'll wait for before deciding if the game is worth carrying on with. 

 

It feels like GTA:O will get all the good stuff though as they look to promote the new release. Makes sense, but it's weird how this newer game seems to not get the full treatment. Who knows, it could have stuff up it's sleeve.

Can't really argue with you here.  I have 6 horses and only ride one.

 

One thing I wish we could change tho would be to have one barn in one location that we maintain without having to talk to the clipboard guy.
