Undead Nightmare is a single player DLC.   That added a new single player campaign to the game and one online game mode.

 

LA Noire DLC was kind of crappy imo.   That's why I said the last REAL dlc.   Which is Undead Nightmare.     Comparing it to Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and Damned.

They obviously don't give a damn about what the crowd is thinking. Otherwise they would communicate with the community and clear up the frustrations amongst the crowd. Long time players getting frustrated and leaving the game is no concern for them. They already paid for the base game and won't spend much on gold anymore. 

New players are what they are aiming for. Sell the game to get them to play Online (like many do already and not even bother with the Story Mode), hope they get their friends into buying a copy too and spend some money on gold. They probably don't care how long those new players will stick around, as long as they keep coming and buying copies of the game. 

They don't measure popularity in happy gamers much, but in sales of game licenses.

Not giving a single f*ck about PC gamers is another reason.

 

They are giving away gold now, because they also know no one in their right mind would spend real money on gold to buy stuff in the game now, because there is not much to spend gold on. 

Perhaps in a later stage, when they've added enough 'usefull' gold bought items, the revenue of gold sales will become more important. But for now, selling copies is probably their main aim. 

Everyone interested in the game's theme will be blown away for the first few weeks and get their pals to join them on their own specific platform. 

Would they really care for us gamers, they'd give us:

 

- at least another character slot,

- information about the upcoming releases,

- dedicated servers,

- less bugs and glitches,

- cross platform gaming,

- better character building options,

- something to do.

 

I'm sure they'll consider a PC release in the near future, to boost more sales of game licenses, when sales on the console market stabilises or drop.

In a forced Public lobby with the upcoming Ability Cards, I do hope they fix up Defensive Mode good enough to make a living off of it. That aside, cool finds and thanks for sharing

They did tease selling those in the RDO intro, curious what the mechanics of it will be, if it's just any old horse and wagon it's not gonna pay very well I don't think.

Could be integrated in a Dynamic PVPVE Event, to make more compelling and rewarding Free Roam activities. Like rare wagons or horses protected by NPC guards. A Posse can fight to share the reward among the members or against other solo players or posses who want the rewards too.

 

Or every day you can get a list from a fence with 3 specific horses or wagons he is looking for, like Simeon in GTAO with the Free Roam car sales.

If we don't get anything until 11am ET I would say the Update is coming September 17th.

So I very much hope we get something in the next 2 hours, otherwise the Update is definitely not coming next week.

We kinda have that already, but aren't selling them at a fence. We deliver them for a stranger.

I dont know about you or if you are sincere at all when saying these things, but lets say it all sounds very exagerated coming from a upset player. 

 

Been playing on and off since the start, and from my experience and others I play with, all agree that towns, except for some shootouts at times, have nowadays seen a major drop. I guess the casino update timing might be related, but even so, the issues you brought out in other threads also seems done quite out of spite to be honest. You keep saying you'll lay off waiting/obcessing over the update but here you are again talking about it everyday. Who here actually still has bluescreens except a very vocal minority? Been ages since Ive seen or heard about one happening with those I play with. Disconnections still happens, but blue screens? Hard crashes? 

 

Im as much as any sensible person disapointed by the lack of communication, but thats been Rockstar since forever, dwelling on it or lashing at them wont change anything as we've seen over the years.

 

Theres way too much negaivity going on here, it cant be healthy. Some of you need to chill. It sounds like you all want to convince other players that the online is trash when the player base majoritarily is either waiting without being vocal about their disapointment because it's not worth it, or continue playing due to still having fun.

 

The online portion is free, lets not go on a rant on why we are entitled to be communicated with based on impatience. So much entitlement.

1 horse and 1 wagon sold per ingame day, I smell it. Payments are gonna be peanuts but well, if you're close to a fence with a horse/wagon that can be sold, is extra money after all. Think about all of these enemy horses that get stranded all around the map....

A small correction , the online portion of the game is not free. You have to pay for the game to play it.

Not out of spite, but again, disappointment about how a game I actually want to love as much as it could deserve. And yes, blue screen hard crashes still occure. Had one yesterday again. Fact that you don't see it happen or heard of it recently, doesn't mean they aren't there.

Check their social media channels. They get a sh*t ton of lashing. Would I be the only one out here, I could see your point.

Previous trashing the game has brought us a few good changes in the last update. Griefing is taken care of. Blips on the map found changes to the better. If no one voices anything, nothing gets changed. Worth it, it is.

The online portion is Free to Play, but not free to access. You'll need to fork out the cash for the single player game. Many, like me, paid 30 extra for the UE, which also gave us benefits for Online. I think we are entitled to rant.
