If that happens though, it will be exactly like the GTAO Casino DLC:

Announcement with information; 4 weeks later release date and trailer a few days before launch (assuming that if they talk about the Summer Update this Thursday or Friday, they will reveal a trailer and the release date for September 3rd).

 

I read into it too much like you said. I'm fairly confident now that since they didn't even retweet last weeks bonuses, we will get new info later in the week.

Rockstar updated Socialclub today.

They added texts for un-used home slider in RDR2 Catalogue, a home slider is like this one.

Spoiler

Instead of "View Outfits", it would say "Join The Club" and the description is a placeholder.

This could mean a new club will be added to Red Dead Online or it could simply refer to Socialclub.

They updated the Twitch Prime Rewards page to remove GTA-related texts. Basically, they removed the texts that talk about the Master Penthouse and GTA$1,500,000 rebate ..etc

All of this seems like preparation for RDO summer update releasing very soon, If I have to take a guess, I would say next week but this is just a guess.

at this point. game still errors....same error as in beta:not good

                    lowlvl and newer players are getting curbstomped

                     no significant update since 6 months: hats don't count, and neither do discounted tonics.

                         no update, teaser,pr,advertising. and the game is on sale for 40% off.

 

do you really think they got a golden egg here? or a rotten tomato that has been left to rot between the cupboard.

 

 

even if the update drops next week(next month) it will be too little,too late.

^^^This. Unfortunately, R* isn't big on SP DLC. The last game they did that for was L.A. Noire. One could argue that Undead Nightmare was DLC (technically it was at first), but it didn't add anything to the SP game.  

 

That being said, I'd love to see a Undead Nightmare 2.

I do agree with much and have many complaints I've probably bored folk with, but that said, it did take time for GTA:O to become the monster hit it became regarding online. Heists got delayed for example.

 

Don't get me wrong, if they announced a story DLC, it would be a huge moment for me, lol. Undead Nightmare Part 2 is the dream (with more monsters and ghouls than just zombies, lol).

 

This coming content is the one I feel that will make or break this far more than losing the beta tag or previous additions. And I feel that could go either way, but keen to learn no less.

 

The game needs more of course, a boat load of bug fixes and so on too. R* have, I feel, done all the stalling they can while they create stuff, and they know much of what we want too through the feedback (although the range of requests I imagine is almost unlimited, lol. Some want cars, others want Mexico, and so on - R* must have plenty to choose from I mean), it's on them now, lol. We'll see.

 

If R* put in their best efforts, I've no doubt this game can soar. I'm unconvinced it is their best efforts though, lol. Looking back, RDR2 took 7 years with all departments working hard at it, while running GTA:O on the side. That alone does elude to their best efforts being put into their next release, and if they haven't started GTA VI by now, I'll eat my hat, lol.

Zombies, meh, bored to death though I am a fan usually. I wouldn't mind a few, but mixed with vampires, werewolves, ghosts, all sorts of creepy crawlies and crazy stuff ripping off old b-movies.

Undead Nightmare in this game would be amazing. Imho. Don't know about the multiplayer aspect but in SP I'd gladly take it.

I more expect them to do it online though, Halloween week, if they do use the theme of course.

 

And I forgot aliens, lol. Each state could have it's own uprising/attack/haunting too, lol. This map has got a great atmosphere to it that it'd go well with a horror theme.

 

Although for those not so keen or no fan of spooky scares, it'll be a real bad weekend and can get why it'd be a turn off.

 

I just feel it could be a fun week/weekend of it. But 100% if it was story, even better.

I take it you never played it, or just don't get it. It  It didn't dump anything into game or change the game itself. It was a game all on it's own.

For anyone that may have missed it, we have 54 playing cards in GTA:O to collect before then to qualify for the free mask.

My too, can’t watch zombie movies or games! Brrr
