Hey there everyone, Wackadoodledoo here.

 

I'm sure some of you may remember the update concept I wrote for GTA: ONLINE; Mounting Bulls & Riding Bears.

 

I will be releasing a fully written concept update for Red Dead: Online in the next month or so. Here is a little teaser for you:

 

 

Much like before, this concept will have brand new concept art and additional treats.

Interesting indeed but the old bounty mission system sometimes are painful and time wasting in terms of finding the bounty and ride back to deliver them. For example if i start the mission from Valentine or Strawberry,the bounty could spawn on top of Mount Hagen lol.

These are audio files with voice lines. The highlighted ones are the ones that I am pretty sure are attached to legendary bounty missions. The one that isn't highlighted is an environmental soundscape that's 1 minute and 46 seconds long and I think it's tied to a cinematic or something.

Out of curiosity, what sets these apart and makes you think they are from LBs?

Because of the nature of what's in these recordings, some have heftier and more dialogue related voice lines than the others. The smaller, highlighted ones are voice packs that are stitched together that have generic NPC dialogue when they make conversation with themselves and are loitering, etc.

 

I think there are going to be 10, but there could be slightly less, like 7 or 8. It's kind of hard to tell and I don't wanna sit there listening to waves of generic dialogue. But what I'm trying to say is that there are enough voice packs in this update for there to be 10 legendary bounties. I can't find the voice packs for where the legendary bounty hunter in Rhodes gives her speech about each legendary bounty. If I can find those, then I'll know for sure just how many there are.

nope only 2 other legendary bounties.

here: i extracted the video clips and the voice over. (are seperate so i had to put them together via a video editor)+

the black screen at the end is just in those videos is just from me.

bc the game would transition into gameplay while the VO is still playing.

Well f*ck. I'm guessing the other .awc files are related to the other regular (new) bounties you can do. Some of these folders are much bigger for whatever reason.

 

Can I ask, which location did you find these files, including the VA for the legendary bounty hunter giving her monologue?

they are just regular voice lines.

like regular bounties and multible for those legendary bounties.

like 1 file seems like for the stage when virgil is still in the cave and you have to find him.

I just realized why there is so much dialogue in those voice files.

 

Aside from the legendary bounties, there are apparently 3 part infamous bounties that you can switch between on the bounty board, that apparently have their own cut scenes, dialogue and story line.

They actually fixed that with this update. Far away bounties have been removed from the pool. Furthest bounty I've had since the update is Armadillo to Snatching Post.

Boy howdy.

Slight hopes for a role expansion like this in March. Personally I'd hope for Trader but I guess R* would rather update the Collector, since they talked about that for a while. 

 

Other question:

What are the chances R* enables infinite streaks again or slightly increases gold payouts today or next Tuesday? 

Could be the marketing stunt of the year lmao

Not gonna lie, the infamous bounties are pretty cool. They strike a good balance between a standard bounty and the legendaries.

I've noticed that some of the Infamous Bounties can't be knocked out. I always like pistol whipping them, especially if it's more than one.

I mean, it's just a theory. Last time we got a whole trailer focused on the new Legendary Bounties so of course they showed all 10 in that trailer. This one needs to show the contents whole update, including the new Infamous Bounties, some general gameplay just for show, the new clothing and apparel, the new weapon variations etc., and for 47 seconds there's not much time to dedicate to Legendary Bounties.

 

Don't get me wrong, you may be right. It's just that we should stick to the analysis of game files for this type of information, which is much more reliable.

From what I've seen so far there is "cutscenes" but they don't have any dialogue, so those additional voicelines - if they're not from additional Legendary Bounties - are probably just new general Free Roam Bounties lines

Yeah I think it's confirmed that there are only 3 (2 for drip feed). Because the other two rollschuh found in the files are the same shown in the trailer.

Yep, it was in the notes of the patch 

 

I've done several of the $$$ and the "Beau" Legendary at least twice, in face I'm level 30 bounty hunter now (insanely easy to level, while I'm only level 22 in Wheeler Rawson.) 

None of them were crazy far from the starting point (well, the Beau one is a Legendary so it obviously loads you into where it starts.)

 

Previous to this update, I remember a couple times doing a LOW $ bounty in Valentine and having it be for a guy by St. Denis and saying, "WHAT?"
