The two weeks deal was such a signal it was impossible not to get excited... not they mention last week they didnt dropped anything as part of their dripfeed.

 

I cant blame myself for thinking we were gonna get something tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing since this was the exact thing they did with GTA. Two weeks long event week and the update dropped, R* are just too unpredictable sometimes and I hate it, sometimes.

I have a feeling they're gonna do a surprise drop. It won't be the first time R* have revealed info and shown a trailer on the day of release of DLC, they've done it often with GTAO.

Tomorrow will be big day for rdo players, summer update drop or we get at least more info with confirmed release date

I'm actually quite excited about jumping back into RDO with this update.

Haven't played in a long time, until a few nights ago and it was like a breath of fresh air compared to GTA.

Meaning, I think I've had my fill of MK2s for a while. I need a slower pace, birdsong, space from other players, fishing quietly, etc.

 

Maybe life is just stressful at the moment and I need something less filled with flying dildos to even it out.

Coming home from a mental day at work to become embroiled in the madness of GTAO would set any man on edge.

I seem to recall sleeping better during my earlier days of playing RDO.

 

So, bring on the update

I doubt we are going to get it tomorrow, but I hope I'm so F****** wrong and it drops tomorrow...

This game is so desperate for an update that I would be totally fine with an update tomorrow with only half of the stuff they planned for the update, and then a month later another update with the other half of the stuff.

Thought I'd have a second day off this month, but oh well. Working till exhaustion I guess. Hope it does drop this week or the week after, even though I'd be able to check it out late at night.

There's still around 8 hours until the usual release time. But do R* not normally give some info and patch notes the day before?

Patch notes are usually made available after an update drops. As for any other details, sometimes R* post a Newswire or tweet some details before release, sometimes nothing until the Newswire after the update goes live on release day.

 

E: In unrelated news, R* have changed the link in the companion app from the two week old Newswire event article to a R* support page about linking the companion app to RDR2. That's around an hour earlier than usual.

The code that changes 2x payouts,discounts and drip feed content etc, If they are updated... the update isn't happening today

I see. But won't that change today anyway because the exp and payout bonus on Land of Opportunity missions is ending today?

Usually happens in about 2-3 hrs...

I PERSONALLY don’t think will see the update till the next month.

I hoped for today, but I am not betting on it. Normally updates release between 11 and 13 here, so that's within the next 2 hours

So it's not happening today, right? Should be out at 1 PM for me which is an hour from now, but still no info and I don't even have a gut feeling for it. Hope I'm wrong though.

Rockstar said that theres is a lot more to be known about the 3 roles in the coming weeks, so there'll definitely be another newswire with details about them before the update pops up.

They have done that before, doesn't mean the update won't come out today.
