Dam i didnt understand a thing... what is more likely the update just for ps4-xbox one in november ? An update for every console in the same date with a free enhancentment included for next gen ? The latters sounds absurdly good to be true... wouldnt they be loosing tons of money ?

I think you could be right on that we may receive a new update on November 17th. At first, I disregarded such possibility since it could be just them setting it active for a month, but it's starting to make more sense now. The timing is merely a coincidence, Rockstar went through 2 weeks of testing before releasing the Naturalist update, assuming the same scenario happens again, two weeks of testing and finally release, that would mark November 17th as a possible release date, plus it's the expiry date of the Halloween Pass, which further supports the possibility.

Coupons don't matter. We had coupons before Naturalist came out that had a Nov 30 date as well. 

 

I hope y'all are right about November 17th, that would be great. We have a light Lockdown here in Germany again throughout November, so a November update would be perfect for me.

Gamestar.de did a interview with R*. 

 

Bounty Hunter expansion confirmed. They didn't say it directly but said it will be an expansion to an existing role with more action and shootouts.

 

Players won't have to wait too long for a more action-oriented update.

I remember when I said that Naturalist was a base role and not an expansion to the collector, people laughed at me. 

 

Now R* confirms what I said. They have 4 different themes. Bounty Hunting (Bounty Hunter - gets an expansion next update), trading (Trader - Moonshiner), exploration (Collector - room for expansion), nature (Naturalist - room for expansion)

Seems like they originally wanted 3 new roles in 2020. Naturalist, Bounty Hunter expansion and Collector expansion, since they talked about a Collector expansion in February. Seems like due to home office and other issues that slowed the development process, they decided to focus on the new Naturalist role and the more requested Bounty Hunter expansion and delayed the Collector expansion to 2021.

Still think it's very possible that they intended for 2 or 3 roles to come in the summer update but the covid issues split the update up into multiple parts.

 

If the next update is indeed the BH expansion I hope they add more depth to it compared to the current BH role, it's the shallowest of the lot for me. I wouldn't be against the role being an outlaw variant of the BH role either, RDO needs more outlaw stuff.

After level 20, the role is completely dead and there is almost no reason to pursue anything related to the role once you are generating income through the other roles.

Bounty Hunting would be alright if they 1) buffed the payouts significantly and 2) added matchmaking for it.

 

Hopefully they learned their lesson this time around.

• This interview with the guy saying we won't have to wait too long for an update.

Yep, the publishing timing of this interview is quite interesting, lines up with qabeta2 "DLC Packs" update.

All of this kinda solidifies the possibility of receiving the update on Nov 17th.

Especially when you already know all of them and there is not much variation per region, a friend of mine just started the role, barely did 10 missions and was already bored with it, never saw him online again.

For me is the most fun role. I love the shootouts and the hidden locations where the bounty hunting takes me (like that mine in West Elizabeth) and Legendary Bounties are my jam. All in all, as a bounty hunting lover there are some good news for me here

3) Would be removal of timers when doing them! So sick of them just giving me couple of minutes to do them when I want to take my time and kill one after one just leaving the targets alive!

We got this with the Casino Update for GTAO where it was "leaked" and we had about a month of nothing then weeks of "teases".

Failed opportunity by interviewer to grill them on how the online experience is abysmal, technical issues still present two years after "beta", or how the naturalist role really has minimal content with copy and paste content galore.

Those interviews are set before...lol... rockstar would bann them forever if they pull this... which is completely true, they didnt create a sh*t from house, all was made before covid hit.

You think the interviewer gets to decide the questions? HA!

 

They get given a specific list of questions and topics they can talk about, R* has to sign off on the interview before it sent to print and these places will bend over backwards and moan "YES SIR!" at getting an exclusive with R* because it brings in the readers.
