No matter how good it would be I can't get excited for a first person multiplayer game, I can barely get excited for a first person open world game, ill play cyberpunk and I think I will enjoy it very much but I don't see myself enjoying a GTAO style game but as a FPS.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if multiplayer has thirdperson. Cause its coming like 2 years later and they already mentioned monetization so they know they need a way for people to look at the clothing they buy etc. And the game originally had thirperson planned and they removed it for "reasons" but I wouldn't put it past them to add it way later to multiplayer and maybe even singleplayer. I mean whats so crazy about that, look at the upgrade of GTA V. They eventually added a first person mode, so its not crazy to think they'd do the same but for thirdperson.

They announced the Naturalist update as "massive".
The massive change I saw were animals spawns. That wasn't an update though, just a fix.
The update itself wasn't bad, but massive is a clear overstatement

Personally I don't think there will be a Holiday Pass. I think there will be Outlaw Pass #4 until March and a new role, that's it. Maybe some festive decor, gifts and snow for 1-2 weeks. I don't think I'm overestimating R* but like I said, maybe you misunderstood my post and I certainly don't know what you really mean.

I think they also said it would be a separate game so what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I really hope R* gets competition. Speaking of R* getting competition, a lot of people are saying Ghosts of Tsushima Legends is an incredible multiplayer mode, it would be cool if Sony lets Sucker punch make an open world samurai online game similar to GTAO and RDO, I think they could do an awesome job, I also want R* to make an open world Medieval game.

I would not be surprised if R* has 2 passes going on at once. One based on XP and the other based on daily log ins would actually be brilliant, for example you have to log in 20 times between Dec 1- Jan 1 to unlock all the rewards, each day you log in you unlock one tier. More ways for R* to make money and keeps players coming back, plus people can't complain they completed the pass in one day when they have to keep logging in. An easy win for them would be to make a christmas themed bar decor, there are many many things they could do (santa outfit, elf outfit) honestly go wild with it since it's a limited holiday themed pass i personally don't care how crazy they make the cosmetics, with online I think they should prioritize fun over realism (as long as it does not break the game like flying horses or something). Also let's not forget during the christmas season people are more likely to spend money because they either want to treat themselves or because they got a bunch of gift cards and money for christmas, especially after such a crappy year a lot of people will just want to end the year positive and happy and for many people (like myself) it is to spend money on video games, all R* has to do is give us a reason to spend that money. I know most of us here have a ton of gold where we never will need to buy it but I am pretty sure most of us would be willing to spend $10-$20 2-3 times a year on RDO if they put out worth while content that deserves to be rewarded with our money.

I am no native, so maybe a little language barrier here, ill try to reorganize my thoughts... in brief, i meant that rockstar is too greedy to get apart from christmas season by more than a few weeks and too lazy and uncreative to deliver a main update in the last week of november and a mini version a little before christmas, which would be a blatant option to cover both the period before cyberpunk release if they actually cared and the festive date... and  that hence  believing the opposite would be overstimating their creativity and devotion to work and understimating their greed... That my gamer -western sucker heart want to be hamfist and proved wrong though LMFAO, but we should expect the update in mid december, first week at soon if they feel generous.

Rockstar will just release the update beginning of December, as planned. People will buy Outlaw Pass 4 then a couple of days later get into Cyberpunk, won't complete the pass and will never get their gold back.

In fact Rockstar don't care about other games' release date. And do you really think Path of Exile is on the same level as any Rockstar game?

As a matter of fact I don't think RDO is on the level of Path of Exile in terms of success. 

 

This isn't the release of RDR3, this is the release of another update for online. Please stop assuming stuff I believe, just read what I post. R* does care. What if they planned a December 11th date? Then it's possible they will move it to December 16th or December 3rd.

Again, as I said, it's highly likely R* will consider not having the big GTAO and RDO update the same week as Cyberpunk. Even releasing a week before shows that they care. You can not say then that it was planned, because we never know what was originally planned.

It is planned. Current vouchers are valid until 30 November. Anyway RDO updates drop on Tuesdays.

And it's an expansion for Path of Exile, not a full game either.

RDO updates not always drop on Tuesdays, Moonshiners dropped on Friday.

I know it's an expansion for Path of Exile, same as Red Dead.

As far as I'm concerned, you are just assuming stuff about me, I said R* will consider moving the date and you just put words in my mouth and put out false info like you know the exact planned release date or that all updates release on Tuesday, which is false.

 

And again, what if they planned a December 11th date for the update? That would be the same day in December as Moonshiner which was also on a Friday on the 13th. I can guarantee you they will consider moving the update a few days or another week to not launch one day right after Cyberpunk. That could be December 1st as an example.

 It's the golden spirit bear sighting mission. His pelt gives the most materials.

You are right, sometimes I'm too invested in a topic. I mixed you up with the other guy. Doesn't matter anyway. I'm just surprised that people oppose the viewpoint that R* might consider moving the update date a few days because the biggest game of the year may launch in the same week.

1. Payta Bison. 58.75 materials,    easy and quick mission.
2. Banded Gator. 40.63 materials,  super easy and quickest mission.
3. Night Beaver. 55.63 materials,   easy mission but takes a bit longer.
4. Icahi Boar. 41.25 materials,       easy mission but takes a bit longer.

Inahme Elk might rank at 3 or 4, don't remember it too well.

Golden Spirit Bear pelt grants 62 materials. Good list above, just do the mission whenever you see one of those since it's random, they are pretty even. I'd say the spirit bear mission is not as quick and easy as the ones above.

I did that mission a few times, lots of searching for clues... twice the last clue didn't pop up for 2 minutes.

But to each his own. It's the pelt which gives the most materials, you're right of course
