The good old GTAO logic behind new game modes, let's make something thats sounds fun on paper, but add some element to it, that will ruin the mode. Slap triple money on it the first week and forget that it's exist for years.

Ability cards are disabled in the new mode, that's a little good move for me. Although, I think aim assist is still there?

That's basically the Online formula for R*. They are good hype men; they know how to make trailers that look awesome, write Newswire posts that "big up" the DLC and they make it sound like more than it is only for us to find out that it's actually quite shallow and grindy and a way to fleece us out of our GTA Dollars and RDO Gold.

And btw: gaining xp for HP is broken for me: I sell some samples to Harriet, gain some XP, but in the HP menu there's still 1 lvl and 1\1000 xp. Shame. PS4.

what a bullsh*t is that?  I payed the gold for the pass, I gain XP by doing the dailies etc  and they tell me it does not count towards the club XP?

Needs lobby choices, or any public jobs spawning is pure pot luck. No point adding robberies if we can't see those opportunities pop up. No point adding anything really, lol.

Anyhow, survivals now even having PvP tacked on? How weak, how flipping cheap! How lazy are these bozo's when they can't offer some with PvP and some as PvE? A game for all playstyles, my arse. They're showing themselves as outright liars more and more with this game right now.

 

And of course, triple cash/gold means many will AFK and R* will just see those number of players 'playing' it as success and that we want more! 

 

Yeah, R*. They love it so much they'll just stand there and do f*ck all but help enable you to warp the prices on the next DLC. like freaking clockwork!

 

As harsh as it seems, and I do feel a bit cuntish saying it, I hope this issue with Xp not working on the Halloween pass is a royal f*ck up that's hard to address and screws many out if their bought gold. Maybe then these cheap bastards will put some damn effort in and players revolt. Sure, the pandemic can explain some troubles and issues with a slower year, but seeing GTA get good QoL additions nearly 7 years in with their last minute summer DLC during the same period (and still to this day allow lobby choices on their latest content while that game just grows and grows), while this game just keeps on breaking, is the real Halloween scare.

November 17th is a Tuesday. We could see the next DLC and Outlaw Pass drop then.

I was just thinking about that, I did some dailies and took out a moonshiner camp but I was still on 1/1000 progress

At first, I thought the expiry date was somewhat an indicator, but turns out it's just the duration of a whole month. So, I don't think it's good enough to be a credible indicator.

Don’t think it will be a good idea to release gta online biggest update ever anywhere near the next red dead update, it will just take away the attention from the title and kill it even more lol

Because Rockstar knows what we think is fun. Rockstar knows what we want and why we don't want what we want, like solo lobbies. They therefor give us broken ass updates with all the stuff that we don't think is fun, in it. Because Rockstar knows we are wrong.

It would not surprise me if the Halloween Pass XP gain was turned off in case people found a way to trigger the HP and they simply forgot to turn it back on.

Not before 1st December. The coupons from previous Outlaw Pass are valid until 30 November... 

 

@fryday I have been bloody stupid and did just that... Sold my collections! Luckily I did not have that much and I still received the $$$ but I'm pretty pissed off.

I think you've missed the point, lol.

 

The pass doesn't appear to be ranking up regardless of what a player does. No one can make progress it seems.

Though if they do like they have these last couple of months with lobbies/jobs spawning, could become yet another farce.

So the return of the populated lobby brought back the problems from before, not one legendary after a few hours of playing, no random encounters, etc. And of course, it's the first time I've been shot in the back of the head since the low lobbies began. I hope that this is just them testing things out, because I was highly enjoying the game up until this point.

Had a Maza Cougar spawn on me today and animal spawns are still good, but there's hardly any Dynamic Events at all.
