Yeah but what does deadeye do really, without the cards that give you some kind of benefit from using it? Just highlights certain kill zones. You'd still have to aim and hit the spot and with free aim that is no easy task, especially with a moving target.

For singleplayer it makes sense, but in multiplayer none, it should not be a thing at all online.

Ability Cards should have been set when you made your character as their intrinsic talents. You should not be able to change them on the fly but you can change them by opening the Character Creation Menu and paying for the change.

maybe that can give us a clue on how the halloween mode is going to work.

oh no.

it is just a file that handles that stuff.

to overwrite specific stuff.

like stats for example.

the "overwrite" has nothing to do with the mode.

allΒ that tells us is that something is overwritten with that zombie infection status effect.

we can only speculate what that means.

maybe the more infected a zombie is, the more difficult it will be to kill?

or maybe it disables headshots for infected.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the new game mode (which is called "Dead of Night").

The file isn't even used and has been in the game since at least build 1207 and hasn't been changed ever since.

...so is this the last day of the outlaw pas 3? f*ck i missed so much of the gold/money i could have had back, should have playd more. Im atΒ 35 now in the op3..

and that entry would make sense for the mode.
i already checked the common_0.rpf

could it be that it is a "source" file that was left behind before it got compiled into a .ymt file?

Nope unfortunately. The only animals listed for the Free Mode Event are Alligators, Bears, Cougars, Elks and Wolves. Rockstar could add them in a future update, butΒ we all know how long Rockstar can take to get an update released.

That's the protect event. What about the tagging one? That one has the Cougars, Elks, Rams and Moose.

The 2 Free Roam Panthers will be available this Tuesday (20th October) possibly the Sighting Mission too otherwise it's Tuesday, 27th October for the Sighting Mission, which is also the day the Halloween Outlaw Pass should start too.

There doesn't seem to be any custom scripts for Wild Animal Tagging so I assume that any of the Legendary Animals can be in the Wild Animal Tagging FME. I've not played it so I don't know how random it is though.

Weird, it only contains those 4. And since they added the Moose I think they are not random anymore.

11:22 has the Ram, 15:52 the Moose. Not sure about the other times.

I really hope we'll get the halloween pass and new game modes this week, it doesn't make sense extend the pass through november when halloween is already gone, and since it's 20 levels it should start ASAP so everyone can complete it by the end of october.
Cougars can wait till november (we have a lot of LA already) since we probably won't be getting a new update till december...

I can't imagine the halloween event being less than 2 weeks, why create like 50 npc models to only have them ingame for a week.

And considering there's an unique business battle in GTAO for halloween, surely R* would want players who play both games to be able to experience all content and possibly be able to farm all the rewards if there are any unique rewards.

Then again, it's R*, you never know.

Also, do we know what those npc models are gonna be used for?

Is it a freemode event? I think it is, but don't know for sure ofcourse.

I feel the HP will be two weeks, one week before Halloween and one week after roughly.

Thinking about it its likely they will leave the HP up for a month which would take them conveniently upto one month exact before the end of year update should drop. They then have a month to tease it.

Most likely. Outlaw Pass 3 is ending this Tuesday. We should be getting the Free Roam Panthers too, both have spooky Halloweeny names. Nightwalker & Ghost.
