It's mostly filler for sure, and the first time R* have both split the Pass in two and, more worryingly, not made it so we recoup the gold spent on the Pass.

 

That being said, I've seen some of the unlocks, and personally I'd had paid for the Halloween Moonshine Shack decor, Reaper Rolling Block variant and the black hand wraps if they were stand alone items, so I feel like I'll just about get 15 Gold bars worth of value out of the Halloween Pass.

 

I wonder whether R* are testing the reaction and the next Outlaw Pass will be split and have a separate Christmas Pass.

Most of us are constantly squeezing out the game. Some may choose to skip on this "Halloween Pass" offer, but honestly speaking, the game is dry enough for me that I won't mind spending 15 gold bars just to relive the sense of progression.

In my case, there is nothing in the pass I don't have or need so there is no progression. I have so many coupons already that I can't use because I am either maxed out on the role or already own whatever it is. Wish I could delete them from the benefits page.

 

Even the outlaw passes don't offer anything of interest for people like me who have no interest in clothes or emotes or other superficial things. What they need to add is a major content drop.

 

People want to level up as high as they can, get as much money and gold as they can, but I'm telling you, getting there is where the fun is. Once you get there the game is pretty much over so you may as well take your time and enjoy the ride.

I never understand the long term players who complain about how much new content costs in gold...

 

What else are they spending gold on? Are they buying every single piece of clothing with gold bars or something?

This is it right here. Anything that adds new game play to free roam without strings attached is (IMO) golden.

 

Even the addition of the beggar giving you a perfect rat carcass provides nice variety of interaction other than killing NPCs or driving them to some location.

Yep.. Also reminds me that i lost a lot during the previous outlaw pass, because I stopped playing for really long time then and returned when the pass was gone allready. There was so much gold and money to get back, but i just lost interest for some time.

Same. Theres not much to play for. Maybe when new dlc comes theres reason to play more like trying to get new clothing or gun or something like that. Maybe a new role.

Right now im just playing to get the gold and money from the pass back and trying to rank up so I can buy the boar mother hubbard saddle and one of the vests.

I'll probably get it just for looks, it does look much better than the standard one.

I was really disappointed when I found you couldn't use the ancient tomahawk as a melee weapon as you can in GTA.
 

Also it auto switches to another weapon once you use it, I think it's a repeater for me, which is stupid, it should switch to the regular tomahawks I carry when it's thrown.

 

Even without the rampage effect it would have been my go to melee weapon. As a thrown weapon I'm afraid of losing it unless it's a guaranteed hit, like a stealth kill.

It is great for stealth kills, but i won't just biff it at a running target.

What would be awesome would be the option to convert unused coupons into either small cash or gold amounts. Let's say something like 0.5 - 1.5 gold per coupon, or something like 50$ a coupon.

I wonder if that's a sacrifice made for the sake of performance, or if it was by need of making many different characters off of the same base model. Either way it seems like a lower quality standard when compared to story-mode. I don't know if its just me being unreasonable, but I would have liked it if they'd made around 4-5 unique models off of which to base our characters. Then they could also have potentially fixed the clothing issues (where it looks ridiculous on larger characters), but maybe that's asking too much.

As we know, ALOT of things were sacrificed for performance. The PS4 and Xbox were pushed to their limits by SP so I can't imagine what MP on top of that is doing. As much as people will hate this the game needs a next gen version from the ground up. I doubt we will see a free patch from R*.

Body shape and body textures should have been different, if I want a Brawny guy that's all skin and bones or a Skinny guy that defined I should be able to, instead of everyone sharing the same low res textures just in different skin tones. The body texture needs a massive overhaul as well.

I have never understood why this is a still an issue. Like I said the other day, R* does what R* wants and f*ck you, you and you if you want anything else.
