I still think it was PR talk, and that (if it ever materialises) while it may be aimed at group play, even more efficient as a group, we'll still be able to collect all pieces of multiple part collectables solo.

 

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, should it happen.

I genuinely believe this is one of the few games where discounts doesnt or shouldnt matter... almost everyone has at least thousands of bucks.

Since they have randomised collectibles, I don't see how it would matter if you're in a posse or solo. Some collectibles will not be available on any given day, unless you're planning on going to every location every day. But you can do that alone.

Have R* ever said anything about making previous Outlaw Passes available again? I took a break from RDO part way through #3 and forgot to come back and finish it, and I'm sure there are plenty of late joiners who never had a chance to do some of them.

They can keep the current state of randomization for the solo collector, and add a new portion of posse gameplay on top of it. New collectible locations with custom loot tables reserved for posses. You don't have to look for the same set of collectibles we currently have, we could see new collectibles meant for posses added.

I wish they would release Outlaw Pass No. 1 for PC players but I guess this day will never come...

Good idea but as lazy as they are about everything in this game I don't see that happening.

 

Personally, I'd rather just collect solo if they will have different posse collectibles but they are random as well. I'd rather waste my own time then the time of others.

To answer your question, no, R* hasn't said anything about activating old passes again.

 

And they probably won't. That's the point of these kind of passes, timed-exclusive rewards, that's their value. Making them available again would diminish the whole concept.
